Nobu Chicago — a japanese spot in West Loop. Modern space that photographs well but eats even better. The bartender knows what they're doing.

“The rooftop was amazing to see the view of the city lights and be warmed up by the lamp as the night goes Location accommodation: it’s nearby the Fulton market which is convenient to walk by”
Nobu in the West Loop didn't live up to the hype for me.
If you are thinking about going to Brunch buffet…DON’T. I wish I had spent $75 somewhere else. Food is so underwhelming.

“My Husband and I were looking to book a 5 star hotel in Chicago- and we went with Nobu.”
My Husband and I were looking to book a 5 star hotel in Chicago- and we went with Nobu. And, it was the best decision ever. We stayed Christmas Eve- till Christmas morning. The atmosphere was relaxing, and calm staff. Which we appreciated as we went to go see the Nutcracker at Lyric Opera House before checking in the Nobu Hotel. The hotel room was so edgy/cool, but still remained minimalistic and classy. With dark marble, and sleek interior design. It was exactly what I was looking for. And, my husband also loved the design of the hotel. The room provides two cozy white-Nobu Robes, alcoholic drinks, and snacks. Of course more amenities- fridge, coffee maker, spacious closet, shoe bag, garment steamer, cool light setup near bed, and around the room. Look up Nobu amenities for more detail. The Bathroom was my favorite part of the room, THE SHOWER, is my dream shower. It was spacious, with a cute wooden seat. The mirror was huge so if you are into getting ready, hair+makeup, the Nobu hotel is the perfect choice. Everything in the room was SLEEK, and I don’t use the word ‘Perfect’ too often. But, it simply was. After checking in we booked a reservation at the Nobu Restaurant, and the food was nothing but delicious! It was nice to get out of my comfort zone, and eat Japanese cuisine. Now, I will keep returning back to Nobu, craving the food…Our wonderful waiter which we didn’t catch her name but her presence was notable. She asked us if it was our first time here-which YES it was! She made sure to throughly explain and suggest options for us. Which I really appreciated, it is nice to be around accommodating people:) Who show an interest in their work, and carry pride within themselves to help their customers. Throughout, our dining experience several waiters came over to greet us, and they came with humor and quick wit. The energy was certainly unmatched. Which, of course significantly heightens Nobu’s atmosphere. As far as food, I ordered the Black Cod Miso, and spicy tuna roll. My husband ordered tempura shrimp, to top it off we had the delicious white chocolate cheesecake. The restaurant was a vibe! There was no blasting music to where it was ever annoying, it was the perfect balance of music, chefs preparing meals in the background, and tables of couples, families coming together to enjoy their Christmas Eve dinner. I also would like to point out the decorations were on point for Christmas. Nobu really knows how to create a memorable experience for their clients. That being said, If you are looking for a relaxing but lively evening I recommend Nobu. Whole heartedly. Will definitely be returning.

I love to go to Nobu restaurants and this one was a vibe also. I was staying at the Nobu hotel so it was nice to just go downstairs and hit the happy hour or for a quick dinner location. I had the yellowtail and a couple rolls. The lychee martini is always a go to favorite!

“Absolutely perfect from start to finish.”
Absolutely perfect from start to finish. I had wanted to come here to see if it stacked up to the Nobu in Malibu and it did 100%. From the miso soup, to the nigiri, to the ribeye, to the dessert, everything was to die for. 10/10 classic Nobu experience- will be back if I'm ever in Chicago .

Went for my girlfriend’s birthday dinner, we had the edamame, jalapeño yellow tail tuna, rock shrimp tempura, tuna over crispy rice, and the tuna tacos to eat. All amazing! Also had the lychee martini and they are delicious and pair well.

“Nobu Chicago’s brunch buffet is a must-try.”
Nobu Chicago’s brunch buffet is a must-try! The sushi was delicious! I highly recommend the spicy tuna on crispy rice and trying the different nigiris. There were plenty of other dishes that kept things exciting, the drinks were strong, and the ambiance made it feel like a special occasion. It is pricey, but if you’re a sushi lover, it’s absolutely worth the splurge.

“Class establishment.”
Class establishment. I sat at the bar. Had a nice martini and a bottle of nigori sake. I had the most delicious salmon signature dish and the rock shrimp with greens. Carrie (maybe Keri or Kerry) the bartender did me right and helped me order the best food. Had sushi with sashimi and finished with a nice cheesecake dessert. Love this spot and would def go back.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Nobu Chicago – 854 W Randolph St, Chicago, IL 60607 What an incredible dining experience! ✨ From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is modern, stylish, and welcoming. The interior design is stunning—from the beautiful ceiling details to the elegant dining spaces and even the restrooms, everything feels thoughtfully put together. 🌸 The food is absolutely amazing. Every dish is presented with care and artistry—fresh, flavorful, and unforgettable. 🍣🥢 The salads were crisp and well-balanced, the sashimi and specialty plates were delicate yet bold, and the desserts (like mochi ice cream and green tea delights) were the perfect finish. 🍵🍨 Service was top-notch—attentive, friendly, and professional. The staff makes sure you feel taken care of without being rushed, which really elevates the whole experience. 👌 Nobu is a true gem in the West Loop, an area already known for its amazing restaurants. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion, having a business dinner, or just want to treat yourself to something extraordinary, this is definitely the place to go. Highly recommended if you want to enjoy some of the best that Chicago has to offer. 🌆❤️
