“yum! stopped at this place during the independent book store crawl and it was just what i needed! i got the chicken ranch wrap which was super tasty and my friends got vegan pancakes and vegan tofu scram and all was delicious. love a place that accommodates different dietary restrictions. will definitely be back here.”
“We had both dinner and breakfast here while staying at the Guesthouse Hotel next door. It was such a joy to find a cafe that did both lunch and dinner so well. About half of our dinner party had the Gnocchi which was served in a generous portion with a light creamy tomato sauce and enough garlic bread to share. At breakfast we enjoyed the Eggs Benedicts, bacon for me and goat cheese and spinach for my partner. Both were fantastic and served with the best home fries I think I have ever had. The decor is a bit quirky but definitely fun, and the staff was super friendly. They have a wall of small customer art pieces and I donated a couple. Will definitely be back.”

“Perfect spot for brunch with my vegan gf! Cute, eclectic decor and a chill atmosphere made our afternoon brighter. I loved my eggs Benedict with breakfast potatoes that had yummy bell peppers and onions. The drinks were also delish! Next time we would love to sit on the patio 🌤️🫶🏼”
“Vegetarian and vegan-friendly We got vegan tostadas and a vegan sloppy joe with mozzarella sticks. Our server was very friendly, patient, and helpful with assisting us on what to order. She was also very attentive and careful abt our dietary restrictions and helped us tweak our orders.”
“The zombie coffee was absolutely fantastic. Been on my mind for days already, and want it again. Sadly a 5 hr drive does not warrant 1 coffee....but still tempted, it was that good! Brownie sundae was still warm when brought to the table. Large enough to share, and very good. Will definitely return when I visit Chicago again!”
