Tryzub Ukrainian Kitchen — the potato pancakes leads at this top-tier Ukrainian Village brunch & breakfast spot. Polished but not pretentious. Expect something different from the standard lineup. S K: "Loved the varenyky too…even the dill sauce was incredible"

“Tryzub is an excellent Ukrainian restaurant that offers an amazing food experience”
It feels like the reviews are fake. The borscht is very poorly made, more like red water with something in it.

“They specialize in cocktails that feature natural flavors.”
They specialize in cocktails that feature natural flavors. The New Fashion was amazing. It is a traditional old fashion with a mushroom tincture. The atmosphere was comfortable and inviting. I look forward to bringing friends and family to experience Tryzub!

“Was here for brunch and can’t wait to come back with more friends to try the Wheel of Fun infused spirit tastings.”
Was here for brunch and can’t wait to come back with more friends to try the Wheel of Fun infused spirit tastings! Vibe is fantastic, service is outstanding. The grapefruit smoked rosemary infused spirit with club soda (it was brunch after all) was so refreshing. My friend tried the beet tangerine martini which was so unusual…you gotta love beets for sure! The potato pancake assortment was so flavorful and crisp. Loved the varenyky too…even the dill sauce was incredible! What a gem.

“We were visiting Chicago and decided to stop by TRYZUB Ukrainian Kitchen, and it turned out to be...”
We were visiting Chicago and decided to stop by TRYZUB Ukrainian Kitchen, and it turned out to be an absolutely amazing experience! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, showcasing Ukrainian culture through beautiful decor and details everywhere you look, there’s something authentic and fascinating to admire. The food was truly incredible. My favorite dish was the Chicken Paprikash served in a baked pumpkin flavorful, tender, and beautifully presented. I also tried the colorful dumplings, and they were delicious! Every bite was full of taste and tradition. The service was wonderful as well friendly, attentive, and welcoming. You can really feel the pride and love they put into sharing Ukrainian culture and cuisine. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to experience authentic Ukrainian food and hospitality. If you’re in Chicago, definitely stop by TRYZUB you’ll be glad you did! 🇺🇦✨

“Ukrainian cuisine at its finest.”
Ukrainian cuisine at its finest. From the amazing list of infused spirits (One choice: Buckthorn-infused!!!), to the out of this world appetizer, to the Chicken Paprikashbin Baked Pumpkin, the food was stellar. The drink I had was supposedly a bloody mary-esq type drink but it was lightyears beyond. Flavors were subtle yet awesome and it was excellent! A highly recommended spot to show your support for Ukraine while eating the best food! A must!

“If you're searching for the best Ukrainian restaurant in the US, look no further than Tryzub Ukrainian Kitchen!”
If you're searching for the best Ukrainian restaurant in the US, look no further than Tryzub Ukrainian Kitchen!! We ordered the potato and cheese vareniki, crispy potato pancakes (deruni), Carpathian wild mushroom soup, and the "Wheel of Fun," a Ferris wheel carrying 4x2 flavored vodkas (HOW FUN???!?!?) The Ukrainian decor is warm and inviting, making the place feel incredibly homey. I spent some time looking at all the displayed items. The staff, both waiters and bartenders, were professional, attentive, and friendly. But the real star was the food: absolutely delicious, and every bite reminded me of what I enjoyed in Lviv a few years ago. It truly brought me back... I'm already looking forward to coming back to try more dishes. Prices can run a little high, but in my opinion it is absolutely worth it. Слава Україні!! 💙💛

“When I stepped into Tryzub, I felt like I was back in my Lviv.”
When I stepped into Tryzub, I felt like I was back in my Lviv. The restaurant was beautifully adorned with Ukrainian relics, books about Ukraine, and magical string lighting. The ceilings were a marvel to look at and the corner of the room was painted with a mural of Lviv's center. We had made a reservation as it was my birthday and Easter weekend. It was a good thing we did, because Tryzub was fully packed. When we got there, we checked in and were promptly seated. Our waitress, Vasylyna, took great care of us and I loved how I was able to order in Ukrainian. As far as the food, everything was delicious and tasted like back at home in Ukraine. I had the Chicken Kiev and my better half had the goulash. You cannot go wrong with either dish. For drinks, we had the kompot, a sour cherry infused spirit (which our waitress brought for me as a birthday gift), and a light Ukrainian beer. I really liked the infused spirit, and I loved the range of flavors that they have of these. Even though the restaurant was a 25 minute Uber ride from our hotel, we are so glad that we came here. My birthday celebration was complete at Tryzub and a special thank you to Vasylyna who made it even more special!!

“The charcuterie board was incredible.”
The charcuterie board was incredible. The varenyky were good and tasted fresh, you can tell they’re made in house. Wheel of fun was fun. Torte was good. Lunch wasn’t cheap but was well worth it.
