Segnatore
Segnatore — high-caliber italian in Ukrainian Village. The decor hasn't changed, and it doesn't need to. Solid drinks, with the bar pulling its weight. "I’m not sure what cut of lamb this was but it was crispy on the outside" — Jenny Bracamonte [$$]

“Cute spot! Spontaneously stopped in for some pasta and enjoyed my visit and the service. I got their Bucatini Carbonara! Everyone was kind. Mar (sorry if I misspelled that!) working at the bar was attentive and I appreciated all of their recommendations for various spots as I am new to town. Thank you! :)”

“This restaurant is a must if you love pasta. We have traveled throughout Italy twice over the past 5 years. Loved the many dishes we have had. This place beats out 90% of anywhere we ate there. I would not hesitate to come back here. The pasta was cooked to perfection. Omg and the sauce was out of this world. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. If I could rate this restaurant higher than 5 stars I would. Just amazing!”

“One of my favorite restaurant in Chicago during our visit. The leek gramigna is to die for!! Service was excellent too!”

“An amazing spot with great fare that we feel so fortunate to have so close to our home. The olive oil chocolate cake is not to be missed!”

“Delicious!!!!!!!! Enough said! Round 2 still delicious!!!”

“came here for a birthday tonight and was blown away with the service!! the food and the atmosphere was also exactly what we were looking for. the food came out so quick and was the perfect temperate!! they made our birthday so special with the free champagne and a lemon cupcake. christian was seriously the best server and we’re already planning our next trip back! ❤️❤️”

“One of if not the best carbonara I've had in the city since visiting Italy. Excellent wine options as well. Looking forward to trying the risotto next time”

“We really enjoyed our Easter brunch here. They had oysters and bloody Marys on special starting at noon.”

“Had restaurant week at Segnatore and it was delish. The arancini was perfection, great flavor, cheesy and delicious. The ragu was great for a cold winter night, great flavor. Will definitely go back!”

“Segnatore, the leek gramigna was an incredible pasta. The leeks were so good, and the short rib was also amazing. It was a great and hearty portion for two people. The foie gras toast, though rich and sizable, felt out of balance. There was not enough bread to foie gras ratio, so it felt like you were almost gorging yourself. The flavors were all there, but it is worth thinking about the portion and how it is laid out. The restaurant felt a little weird and eclectically put together. The standout is the bar, and I would recommend sitting there if you can, because the dining room feels sporadic, like you are randomly sitting in an open room.”
