Been coming here for a longtime but finally was able to bring my wife to try it out! Love this place the jibaritos are always great the rotisserie chicken is also so good. Definitely this place will continue to be a favorite of mine.

The best Jibaritos in the USA. I always get the steak jibarito, arroz con gandulez, parcha (passion fruit) to drink, and sweet plantains! I come here once a week.

My last trip to Chicago, I realized I hadn’t ever tried a jibarito. Really good. This was chicken. The rotisserie chickens looked so good by themselves, but had to try this.

A gem of a hole in the wall if there ever was one. The inside is pleasantly warm and thick with the scent of rotisserie chicken. Staff are very friendly and service is fast. Food was amazing and well above board for the price. Especially the jibaritos and the chicken. Definitely will be returning in the future.

Delicious, garlicky jibaritos; exceptional service and inviting staff (Papa himself gave us a warm welcome too)! Indoor seating is limited, but they have a toasty, heated outdoor space for cold winter days. Prices are reasonable too. Food I tried: - Ribeye Steak Jibarito: The steak was super juicy and flavorful, and the plantain was quite densely flattened. Adding their garlic sauce on top added a nice kick. The arroz con gandules on the side was also extremely good-- a little crispy, very flavorful and aromatic. - Shredded Chicken Jibarito: The shredded chicken was also tender and juicy with great flavor, but I think the flavor of the steak was more robust, which I preferred.

“This is the best Jibarito I’ve ever had.”

This is the best Jibarito I’ve ever had! Mind you I’ve only had two, but I’m stopping here. I don’t want to ever have another one if it doesn’t come from this place and that’s just period. The Lechon is only served on Saturdays and I can see why. They have perfected this pork recipe. It melts in your mouth and it’s full of flavor. I will return and I will bring others with me.
