“First time finally trying Bolivar & Lincoln, and BOY, it did not disappoint! My partner and I got the “Cowboy” arepa. The ratios and portions couldn’t have been more perfect. Make sure you come hungry, and ready to get a little messy. At first I thought, maybe not a place for a first date, but on second thought, you could learn a lot about your date seeing how they tackle this beautiful monstrosity because it sure does take some skill. The staff are so friendly, and it’s sweet to see the family hanging out in their restaurant as well. We finished our meal off with a hand pressed espresso and it hit the spot. 10/10 recommend.”

“My husband is Venezolano and his home cooked food is fire. This matches his efforts! Everything is way more than we wished for. Muchimas gracias!”

“I had the cowboy arepa and it was absolutely amazing 🤤the steak was so flavorful. Absolutely delicious! Definitely need to come back soon!”

“Me encanta las opciones de comida Latina. Sabor Venezolano 100% y cantidades generosas”

“It was my first time enjoying some Venezuelan cuisine. I was able to try some small bites at work, for a coworkers birthday, who happens to really hype this place up. I was instantly taken back by their meats, and side dishes. I decided to go personally and try this place out during my lunch break. I was not disappointed; I was actually very impressed. I had the “Blondie Aprepa”, the “Caachapa”, corn pancake, & a Papeleón lime drink, made of fresh limes 🍋🟩 and sugar cane to wash down my meal. I highly recommend this place, if you’re in the mood to try out some Venezuelan cuisine.”

“Understated and unassuming location but big on flavors, friendliness and portion sizes. If you come hungry, you’ll undoubtedly leave filled to the brim and in need of a nap. The B&L team are warm, friendly and excited to share their food with you. We were told we ordered too much (not surprising given my track record) but they were right. The appetizers are delicious, and the pabellon criollo was a highlight. As a non-arepa fan myself, they made me reconsider my opinion when I tried the Divina arepa, with chicken, avocado, white cheese, caramelized onions and mushrooms. That in itself was hefty but absolutely delicious. Definitely give them a try. Best to get a reservation in given the space is pretty small and quaint so you can get to eating sooner rather than later.”

“If you like great food, excellent service and a nice atmosphere, look no further, this is the place to go!! Make sure to order tequeños and a Venezuelan lemonade.”

“WOW! Don’t sleep on this spot. The arepas are amazing! I got the Blondie and a side of black beans. They really don’t skimp on meat or cheese here. It was fantastic!”

“Yummy hearty food. I got the Pabellon Criollo which satisfied my craving for rice and beans. The shredded beef was a tad bit chewy but I would still re-order. We also tried their chocolate cake and Tres Leches and highly recommend both. The chocolate cake has a hint of another flavor that makes it stand out it from a standard chocolate cake and I really enjoyed it.”
