“This has quickly become our new favorite restaurant in the neighborhood”
In Chi town for a few days, decided to try this place.Ordered on uber eats, the fried rice was 3/10, the goat meat was boiled and stewed , why could you guys not just fry your goat meat so it tastes good.
**DO NOT RECOMMEND BY ANY MEANS** I was really looking forward to this meal, as I genuinely enjoy African food.
This is the most disgusting place I have ever gotten food from. The food was in the fridge, who knows how many days old.

10/10 would recommend!! We had a table of 5 and were seated immediately! The service and servers were great! They were kind and accommodating to our needs. They showed us how to eat our meals the traditional way! Everything was delicious and filling. We can’t wait to go again!

“I visited this restaurant and ordered Jollof rice with meat and plantains.”
I visited this restaurant and ordered Jollof rice with meat and plantains. I also ordered Suya. The Jollof rice was very good. I liked that it was perfectly seasoned and the meat was soft and flavorful. The highlight for me was the Suya. It tasted very authentic and reminded me of home. I tasted it and my taste buds travelled home 😅😅. I also saw that they had puff puff and meat pies. I would definitely try them next time. Overall, 10/10 for me. I would highly recommend if you are looking for authenticity.

I rarely give reviews but being my first time in Chicago, especially given that some Nigerian restaurants don’t cook well enough, I am blown by the service and food quality of this place. We ordered suya, moinmoin, jollof rice, pepper soup and ayamase and I will say, they all taste too good, well cooked and I’m smitten! Thank you for making our night memorable with your quality food and cooking skills! I will surely be back whenever I return to this beautiful city. Did I add that our order was placed within an hour of closing today and we still got hot and fresh meals served as take out?!!. I am impressed!

10/10. I’ll definitely be back! The egusi was great. It all tasted so good and I’m just happy I live so close. If I’m showing a friend around Chicago, this is going on my list of places to bring them. The staff is very friendly - this place is a hidden gem for sure. Ordered: Jollof rice with goat and white fish, egusi with fufu and goat and beef

“What a wonderful addition to the neighborhood.”
What a wonderful addition to the neighborhood! Not many West African options in the area but the food is so tasty here and service very kind. Plus it’s a family owned business :) I recommend the jollof rice, moi moi, plantains and yams. All was very good though! Be prepared for the spice

“This has quickly become our new favorite restaurant in the neighborhood.”
This has quickly become our new favorite restaurant in the neighborhood. On our first visit, the server and owner patiently explained various Nigerian dishes they offer and shared great recommendations. The food was a hit - we have returned multiple times, each visit being equally satisfying. The pounded yam with Egusi soup was full of flavor and a standout. The cow skin, goat, and beef tripe were all delicious. We also tried the fish roll, beef pattie, and puff puffs, all flavorful and well-prepared. The server and owner are very friendly and always made us feel welcome. We’re looking forward to many more visits in the future.

“Really delicious food at reasonable prices.”
Really delicious food at reasonable prices. The jollof rice and amala soup were both delicious. We were seated quickly and the food came out fresh and well cooked. Service is very friendly and polite, but be prepared to wait for a bit for your food to be ready. We recommend getting puff puff for an appetizer - they are so sweet and delicious!
