“My experience at blowfish was remarkable. My family and I went on a Monday evening, so the restaurant was not particularly busy. There was only one waitress and two chefs that did an exceptional job keeping up with customers while ensuring quality service and entrees. However, the most notable part of our experience was the quality of sashimi. As someone who frequently enjoys sushi—sashimi in particular—I can very well taste the difference in quality and freshness compared to more subpar restaurants, so this noticeable improvement made my visit all the more pleasant along with the hospitality and timely delivery. The sashimi deluxe is a dish no one should ever pass up, and I will most likely be returning this week to indulge once more. Additionally, if you enjoy more savory rolls, the wagyu roll is right up your alley. I prefer raw sushi, so it was not my cup of tea, but it is a great entry roll for those who don’t enjoy raw fish, so you may drag your friends that don’t eat sushi 🥳. There are also several alternative dishes that cater to every taste, so I suggest you give this restaurant a shot. Although some reviews may suggest otherwise, I felt rejuvenated after finally coming across this restaurant, and almost shed a tear walking out the door 😢.”

The atmosphere and interior design feels intentional and welcoming. We had the calamari and sushi when we went and it was delightful. The textures are well balanced and so are the flavors. The staff here was also very attentive without being too present. I will definitely be returning. It is a very vprecious option in Edgewater and it makes me value this neighborhood even more.”
