Wicker Park Seafood & Sushi Bar
Wicker Park Seafood & Sushi Bar is an unexpectedly polished ORD stop, with standout Rainbow Signature and shrimp tempura rolls, smoked salmon, ahi bowls, gourmet sandwiches, and a strong champagne selection. Travelers love the calm, spacious seating, gate-view convenience, and hardworking service during delays, though experiences vary: waits can exceed 45 minutes, staff may seem unfriendly, and allergy communication can be difficult.

“The people working here are super nice and accommodating. They still let me put in an order before they closed. The sushi was very good and good portion size. I got the shrimp tempura roll with potato crispies, cream cheese and avocado and it tasted fresh and had tasty sauces.”

“it was great for a nice à la cart quick snack at the airport. Good quality food”

“I was desperately looking for some where to sit whilst waiting for a delayed flight. I ended up at Wicker Park! I am glad I did. The service was wonderful and attentive. If you don’t see any seats then do walk around the back as there is bar seating on both sides! I didn’t eat the sushi but everything coming from the open sushi bar looked amazing! Definitely in the more upscale calm side of ORD T2 dining options!”

“Very good restaurant quality seafood and gourmet sandwiches - and not only at an airport but possibly with a live time view of your gate's boarding times, lines, etc. Surprisingly good despite being paired with a Gen X grunge soundtrack.”

“Nice atmosphere and decent sushi but nothing too great, kind of overpriced imo. The desks are kind of small as well, not the most convenient if you wanted to get some work done as well.”

“As an employee of O’Hare the staff was extremely rude. They just looked at me while I stood there to place an order, I had to greet them then the older Caucasian woman told to give her my card without even giving me a total. As expensive as the food is they should be a lot more friendlier. The food was not good this time either. They just sat my food on the counter and didn’t even say your order is ready. I asked them and the Caucasian man said more than likely it’s your..What the hell?”
“silver skin Hosanna a couple pieces of my salmon but all in all the quality is good. I always try to make it a point to come here anytime I have a layover at Chicago O'Hare”
“I honestly could not be any happier with how completely wonderful my visit to this location turned out to be. It is incredibly easy to find, wonderfully maintained, and offers a perfectly pleasant environment that makes you feel completely at ease. This is undoubtedly a five-star establishment that totally deserves your time and attention.”
“Wasn’t sure what to expect but Pretty good sushi and very friendly service.”
“Ordering is done by phone. My food arrived so fast I almost fell out of my chair. Not even McDonalds is this fast. Had the smoked salmon appetizer, smoked salmon sushi, and avocado roll. All were quite impressive and tasty. I would come back again.”
“There’s a new place by the C1 gate. Really nice place. Great food, music and service. Rainbow Signature roll was excellent.”
“I ate here during a snowy day with TONS of flight delays, so it was incredibly crowded for a long time in a row. Mr. Jacinto, the bartender, was doing a truly incredible job meeting everyone's needs faster than seemed humanly possible. He had an organized routine for balancing drink orders, food orders, and people paying and leaving. The folks in the kitchen were also working quickly and efficiently to make everyone's food. I hope everyone involved gets a big raise! They made our four hour flight delay a lot more bearable.”
