“Delicious gluten free treats.”
Delicious gluten free treats! I’m not a coffee girlie but I love a good pastry. I honestly don’t remember what the things I got were called, but I sure did scarf those down pretty quickly. I went on the way to the airport. Would definitely go back if I return to Chicago!

“This is not on their menu but I’m making a review because it needs to be!”
This is not on their menu but I’m making a review because it needs to be!! probably one of the best matchas I’ve ever had and it was solely because I couldn’t decide between an horchata espresso drink or a matcha so I asked if I could just get the horchata milk with matcha added and it was gone in less than 5 minutes. The drink next to it was the same order but including the espresso shot as well!

“Oromo Cafe in Bucktown is an absolute gem.”
Oromo Cafe in Bucktown is an absolute gem! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with beautiful decor that makes it a perfect spot to relax or catch up with a friend. Their coffee is truly delicious. The specialty drinks, especially anything with house-made nut milks, are a must-try. What really makes Oromo stand out, though, is the warmth of the people. Leyla, the owner, is incredibly sweet and kind. She brings a personal touch to the cafe. It’s clear she takes pride in creating a space that not only serves amazing coffee but also fosters a sense of community. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

“Had to have a Turkish Coffee and did not disappoint.”
Had to have a Turkish Coffee and did not disappoint. If you haven’t had a Turkish coffee, it’s quite an interesting experience. It’s brewed in a pot of sand, including some Turkish Delight, interesting to see. It’s located underneath the Blue Line Western and Milwaukee stop. They serve all sorts of breakfast items, fresh pastries and lunch sandwiches, all looked good as I sat here.

“I wish I discovered this place sooner!”
I wish I discovered this place sooner!! Such a cute little coffee shop, and they had REALLY good drinks & food!! This was the perfect stop for me to grab a bite while studying for a bit. The workers were SUPER kind and nice. They were also very accommodating, making sure about my dietary restrictions, and recommending some drinks when I couldn’t decide. The owner was also around and making sure everything was going okay in the cafe. I didn’t realize this place was Turkish, so I was very delighted to see this and also try some Turkish staples! I had the lentil (mercimek) soup with naan on the side, a spinach & feta borek, and an iced honey lavender latte. All three items were exceptional! Next time I want to try the Turkish coffee and see how it is 😊 I will definitely come back!

“Came here to catch up with a friend, and it was an overall great experience.”
Came here to catch up with a friend, and it was an overall great experience! Right below the blue line stop, so super convenient. Prices are totally reasonable and I loved the selection of items! The Turkish vibe is great and not something you find often. Tables are a little old and could be cleaner, but service and food were amazing. Definitely coming back!!

Really cozy atmosphere, more than enough space. Big menu of drinks and food. Good Turkish pastries. Nice music plays in the background. And their hot chocolate is very good.

Stopped by this coffee shop on my last day in Chicago, it did not disappoint! Turkish Coffee was fantastic, really enjoyed the Turkish Delight as well. Ordered the breakfast sandwich to eat, delicious! Came on a Sunday morning and they stayed consistently busy.

This quaint coffee shop is wonderful, and it has the tastiest baklava I have had tasted yet in the Chicago area. Truly, it is incredible. I highly recommend coming here!! I also got a golden chai latte and it was the most perfectly spiced chai latte I have tasted here as well. Honestly a wonderful experience!
