We selected Alliance Bakery for our wedding cake after sampling a few options around Chicago. They did a phenomenal job with the design of our cake - I wanted vintage piping and it was beautiful. The cake itself was delicious, we got two cake flavor/frosting combinations for both the cutting cake and sheet cakes for serving and many of our guests commented on how good it was!

We started with Alliance Bakery's at-home tasting kit, which made picking our flavors easy and fun to do. We wanted a small 6" cutting cake for our wedding and had a specific design in mind. They were responsive and easy to work with to design the cake we wanted for our wedding. The cake itself turned out exactly how we wanted, was delicious, and we were able to enjoy it for a few days after the wedding. We would recommend ordering your wedding cake or desserts for any occasion from Alliance Bakery!

I would give 10000 stars for the execution of the cake and the Mona sculpture. Literally the same as the puppet. Incredible craftsmanship!!! The taste: incredible. Moist, soft, good flavor, and the fondant wasn't too crazy on the taste. The cake didn't arrive at Division location for pick up as requested and confirmed during placing the order, BUT the staff was extremely nice and kind about it.

“Alliance Bakery is the best.”

Alliance Bakery is the best! We got our wedding, rehearsal dinner, and bridal shower cakes from them, and we received so many compliments on the taste! They also looked so great. The planning process was smooth as well, and I think their prices were pretty affordable compared to other bakeries in Chicago. We're looking forward to our next occasion to order dessert from them!

We used Alliance Bakery for our wedding cake! We actually had 2 cakes- a bride's and a groom's. Stacy was great to work with! There was a lot of back and forth on size, tiers, flavors, etc, but she was patient as I slowly made up my mind. The tasting here was the yummiest out of the approx 4 bakeries we tried. I had been told by another bakery that it is standard to have a faux cutting cake with sheet cake in the back. This was not my preference and thankfully Alliance said their standard is to make the entire cake real! Everything turned out just the way we wanted!

I contacted Alliance Bakery 4 days before a surprise birthday lunch to create a cake. They were able to accommodate my requests and the end-result was gorgeous but most of all, it was the most delicious cake I've ever tasted! The flavors were: vanilla cake with lemon curd filling and raspberry rose buttercream filling, with Italian buttercream frosting. This will be my new "go-to" bakery, do not hesitate to order from here!

My mom loved her cake! I was extremely busy during the times I scheduled to drop off flowers and pick up the cake but the staff were courteous enough to call me, and extend the time to bring the flowers and hold the cake until the next day. The cake itself looked pretty and tasted good. Everyone at the gathering enjoyed it.
