“Last night in the Chi and we decided to have dinner at The Remington. We both ordered the ribs and they were delicious. My friend ordered the cornbread which had peppers and cheese in it, neither of us were fans. Service was really good; food came out quickly. Our server was attentive. If you're in Chicago, The Remington is a good choice for a meal. The prices are not bad for most items.”
“We were celebrating our friend’s birthday, and we wanted to surprise him with a dessert at the end of the meal. Since we planned to order the birthday cake at the very end of dinner, I first pretended to order a salad so our friend wouldn’t suspect anything. When our server came back, I quietly asked if they had birthday cake instead. She immediately understood that the salad was simply a clever distraction to keep our friend from realizing we were planning a surprise. She handled everything perfectly, and thanks to her, we were able to surprise him without giving anything away. It was such a thoughtful touch, and we really appreciated how attentive and quick she was. To finish the evening, we were absolutely blown away by the food. The WRIGHTWOOD Salad ($19.95) was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and one of the best salads we’ve had. The ribs were also outstanding—they were so tender they literally melted in our mouths. Everything we ordered was delicious, and we can’t wait to come back! Unfortunately, I can’t remember our server’s name—it was something like Jane or Jean, and I’m very sorry for not remembering it exactly.🌹🤗”

We were seated in a private room in the wine cellar, and the service from the host, server, and staff was excellent. Even as the last seating of the night, we never felt rushed. The Berkshire pork chops were some of the best I’ve ever had, and the portions and pricing are more than fair for a steakhouse of this caliber. Great food, great atmosphere, and great service—easily one of the top restaurants in Chicago and the Chicagoland area. Highly recommend.”
