Lockwood Restaurant & Bar
Lockwood Restaurant & Bar — an american spot in Loop. Old-school in the best sense, with zero pretense. Solid drinks, with the bar pulling its weight. Brice Leroi: "The menu is as impressive as the ambiance, offering an array of savory dishes crafted with care and creativity" [$$$]

“10/10 experience! Everything was excellent. The cucumber salad was absolutely incredible, I highly recommend it! Jay made our dinner even more special. We had such a great time, and all of the food and desserts were delicious. We’ll definitely be back!”

“A beautiful Chicago experience. Palmer House is not just a hotel, it feels like stepping into history. The lobby is stunning, with its grand architecture, incredible painted ceiling, elegant lighting, and unique details like the famous Peacock Door. Every corner feels rich with character. We stopped for dessert and tried Bertha’s Brownie, which made the visit even more special knowing its connection to the original Palmer House brownie story. The presentation was elegant and the atmosphere was warm, lively, and memorable, especially with the live music in the background. What stood out most was the full experience: historic charm, refined ambiance, great desserts, and a setting that feels both iconic and welcoming. Definitely worth visiting even if you are not staying at the hotel. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy a true piece of Chicago history.”

“Necesitas ir a probar el Brownie. Aquí tienen la receta OG del Brownie. Es simplemente divino. Es costoso así que ve preparado 13$ para una porción de Brownie pero vale la pena.”

“Staff was very welcoming and polite. Awesome service.Food was delicious 😋”

“This is my second time being there everything on the menu is awesome”

“A wonderful place for the holidays. Great staff food and drink specials.”

“Superb, fresh, hot sandwiches and fresh salads under the wonderful overhead mosaic of the restaurant and bar.”

“This restaurant is in the Palmer House. My wife and I split a Lockwood Burger and fries. Without a doubt one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. She also had their signature brownie for dessert. I can't recall the name of it. For $12 it could have been a little bigger but it was good. One word of warning. This place is not cheap. The Burger and fries was $21”

“Stopped by for happy hour and had the best time. The wine was $12 a glass and was delicious. We also got the charcuterie board which had an amazing assortment of high quality meat and cheese that we loved. Our server Felipe was very hospitable and lovely! We will definitely be back for the food service and great atmosphere!”

“宿泊費の中に朝食代が含まれているとのことで利用。お値段は確かにするがカリカリのベーコンにオムレツの載ったサンドイッチは味のバランスがよく大変美味しかった。”
