I can’t believe how fresh and wonderful the food was here — I truly enjoyed every single bite. The pancakes stood out the most: fluffy, warm, and perfectly paired with the banana foster sauce, which I thought might be too sweet but turned out to be just right. It’s an excellent breakfast spot, and the free parking in back is such a bonus. The whole diner has a fantastic, homely feel, the food came out hot and fast, and everything was simply amazing. The waitress was so pleasant, always attentive, and made sure water and coffee were topped up often. What really makes this place shine is the friendly and helpful staff who make you feel comfortable right away. Their menu is extensive, with so many great selections, and the best part is that you can mix and match items in countless ways to suit your taste. Between the quality of the food, the warm service, and the cozy atmosphere, this is one of those diners you’ll want to keep coming back to again and again.

Pattu is a great waitress. My daughter didn't know exactly what to get & Patty's suggestion helped make it the cheapest option! Food was ready in 5 minutes! And the hash browns were so good!

But if you, want some thr brst Staff Nd cooking walk on in to Eppel's Restraurant in South Loop, I can say enough...! I walk in thr place just feels and smell wondeful. People proud of what community the and Love in the Found. Respect the Chicago way of care and knowing the Menu. Help out for Gentlemen with our Beakfest before a Wedding the Day could not have started Better Thank You So Much. If you go by Tell Badmonkeyking say they be Back!

Was skeptical because diners usually mean racist past, but this place was chill and staff were Hispanic and Polish and guests were Black. I ordered the Cajun catfish with pilaf rice and salad and it was very good. Like a comforting home cooked meal. Service was excellent. You'll likely here a "yes love" or "sweetheart" several times. Wifi as well here. Good prices as well.

This place is a no thrills family owned diner that knows how to take care of their customers with their service and their amazing food. Me and a10 others came here to get food after a baseball game and no one had a negative thing to say and we all left full and satisfied. I had “The Works” Skillet which was amazing and I would highly recommend. Too bad I don’t live in Chicago otherwise I’d be here very often.

I enjoyed my custom veggie omelet with grits, pancakes, and coffee very much. It's a very comfortable place with nice people. It wasn't too crowded like places closer to Michigan Avenue. I'll be back next time I'm in town.
