Yep Kitchen (AYCE Sushi & Hotpot )源记茶餐厅 — chinese in Chinatown. The design gives it a sharp first impression. The recipes feel handed down, not invented. Moves fast. "The savory rice dumplings came in a flavorful chicken broth, and the osmanthus cake was also delicious" — J C (61) [$$]

Love this place lol I’m using my aunties phone to comment cz we had breakfast here and dinner back to the topic I get why people might give a 1 or a two star though because this place is a not “American stereotype” canton Chinese restaurant so to me most of them are unreliable sooooo for the one that love Chinese kind of spic I recommend crispy something fish pot sorry can’t remember the middle word 🤪 Forget to take pic before cuz it’s too good 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Traveled to Chicago from SF Bay Area and found this place in Chinatown Square. I had a rice noodle and porridge and they turned out just as good as what I can get back home. Good HK style comfort food. The HK milk tea was authentic. The restaurant is within 3 mins walk from the Redline. I would come again next time when I’m in Chicago.

I had a fantastic experience celebrating Chinese New Year at this wonderful Chinese restaurant! The atmosphere was lively, creating the perfect backdrop for an evening of incredible food. Every dish I tried was beautifully prepared and bursting with flavor. Free hot tea. I especially recommend the spicy jellyfish salad — it’s refreshing, spicy, and perfectly balanced. The pork and vegetable buns were soft, savory, and deeply satisfying. I had the stir fried beef with vegetable — definitely hit the spot. To finish, the mango pomelo dessert was light, creamy, and wonderfully fragrant — a perfect ending to the meal. The service was attentive and friendly throughout, and I loved that the restaurant stays open late 1. a.m., making it a great spot for a late-night bite or celebration.
