Triple Crown Restaurant
Triple Crown Restaurant — solid, no-fuss chinese in Chinatown. Order the dim sum. Good energy here, especially on weekends. Good value, moves fast. Moises Treviño Garcia: "The meat was crazy tender and juicy, and the sauce had this smoky, sweet punch that just worked" [$$]

“Had an excellent lunch at Triple Crown Restaurant in Chicago's Chinatown! They offer a fantastic selection of dim sum and noodle dishes, making it easy to find something for everyone. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and very well prepared. The service was friendly, attentive, and efficient, which made the experience even better. If you're looking for authentic Cantonese cuisine and great dim sum while visiting Chinatown, Triple Crown is definitely worth a visit. I'll be back!”

“Nice dim sum restaurant. We had to wait about 15 minutes but worth the wait. We had chrysanthemum and oolong teas. Several dim sum dishes including chicken feet, ha gow, tsu mai, cha su bao, sesame balls, eggplant, and much more. My 12 year old niece first time having dim sum absolutely loved the food.”

“Lovely old-fasioned Chinese architecture restaurant. The food taste tradition and like "grandmom-made-it". The service is excellent and very attentive.”

“Been going to Chinatown for decades and pasted this place up not knowing it’s the best! Went there for Lunar New Years and had the freshest dumplings and noodles. Can’t wait to go back”

“Delicious food is always promptly delivered to the table! The dim sum is delicious, and I love the pig buns!”

“I've been wanted to try this place for a while. My husband wasn't sure about the food. He wanted shrimp, we got the shrimp with broccoli. Stir fry shrimp rice noodles, vegetable egg rolls. And hot tea to drink. He ultimately loved the food, especially the Stir Fry noodles...but loved all. The food was delicious and the hot tea hit the spot after been walking outside for a while in the cold. We will definitely be going back. We went there late Saturday night, there was no table wait and not a lot of people. We passed by this morning and it was packed. Definitely a must try!”

“Excellent dim sum and fun atmosphere. Kitsch in a good way.”

“Somebody recommended this place to me and I do not regret coming. The restaurant has a nice entrance very pretty a little fish tank. I loved it in the restaurant is on the second floor so you have to go upstairs. It’s not that bad. The atmosphere itself is just regular is not that great of the restaurant but this is not important when the food is good and this food was good The noodles was amazing. I loved them and they were so spicy. I love that the prices were not bad either. I just like the food here I’m coming back definitely”

“Triple Crown on south Wentworth in Chicago creates a wonderful feast. The atmosphere and acoustics make dining and conversation pleasurable. The service is extremely attentive and courteous. Also, the tender Chicken w/Mushrooms, Shrimp w/savory noodles, Dumplings, authentic Egg rolls, and succulent Mongolian beef were all delicious 😋 It's easy to over eat here!”

“I’ve been ordering takeout from Triple Crown for a while, but this was my first time actually eating there. And yeah… big difference. The vibe inside is really good. Feels lively but not chaotic. Staff is super friendly and straight to the point. No small talk, no waiting around. You order, they bring it out. That's how fast they are. I got the sizzling soy glazed beef short ribs or the number 74 and wow. Honestly tasted way better eating it there than at home. It came out sizzling hot. The meat was crazy tender and juicy, and the sauce had this smoky, sweet punch that just worked. Not too salty, not too sugary. Just right. I cleaned the whole plate and still wanted more, which says a lot. Portions were solid too. Only small thing, it was almost too hot to start eating right away. Overall though, everything we order was really good food. I’ll be definitely coming back for more.”
