The Clark Street Dog — clean, consistent hot dogs in Lakeview. Buzzy, energetic room where the crowd adds to it. The food tastes like it should, with no compromises. Quick and efficient, open late. "The chicken philly was chock full, delicious, hot, and fresh" — J Brown [$, patio]

☀️Patio — a Lakeview classic in summer.
🌙Late night — the kitchen runs past 10.

This is a north side gem serving up consistently good Chicago food. Great for a filling bite depending on what you're doing to pass your time in and around Wrigleyville.

Lure Ball Bites The Clark Street Dog feels like one of those small neighborhood food spots Trainers discover while exploring a city route and immediately add to their favorites list. The brick walls covered with photos give the restaurant a warm, homey atmosphere, making it feel more like a local gathering place than a tourist trap. The Clark Dog came out fully evolved, loaded with mustard, onions, relish, tomatoes, pickle, and sport peppers in a combination that worked together like a balanced six-Pokémon team. Every topping contributed without overpowering the others. The Chili Dog may have been the true ace Pokémon, though, delivering powerful flavor attacks with hearty chili and onions that made every bite feel rewarding. Supporting the team were the fries, arriving hot, crispy, and lightly salted with exactly the kind of reliable stats you want from a side dish. The Clark Street Dog doesn’t rely on flashy Legendary-tier gimmicks. It wins battles through execution, quality ingredients, and classic Chicago-style moves. If you’re in the area and craving a Hot Dog-type encounter, this place is absolutely worth adding to your Pokédex.

Excellent food. Clark St dog was great, chili cheese fries were amazing. Good drink specials, friendly staff. Do not sleep on the bar, it's one of the gems of the neighborhood. Check it out on game day for sure. Overall A+ Also wanted to add that they have tented and heated outdoor seating, so dog friendly!

Stopped in here for food the other night and really enjoyed our time! We got a Philly Cheesesteak and a Chicago-atyle hot dog. The food was amazing and we'd go back here again!

Delicious food, good vibes, and on point staff. Best pizza puff in the city, in my opinion. Oh - and hot dogs too But no mustard - add ketchup, extra sports peppers. I grew up in this city and I had never been here, that I remember, but have stopped ij 4 times in the last 8. Clean soda fountains, large drink selection, and kindness. That plur thing Thanks guys 🌻

Great Vienna Beef Chicago Style Hot Dogs! Clark Street Dogs is amazing, fresh and delicious, sport peppers are amazing, perfect neon green relish, etc. NON Poppy Seed Buns, but fresh, good hot dog buns. Plenty of French fries per order with them spilling out of the container from the abundance. Crisp with just the perfect amount of salt without over doing it.

5 stars all around for vibe, taste and bang for your buck. This place is one of the OG Italian beef spots. Definitely grab an Italian beef “baptized” with hot and/or sweet peppers. Plus they’ve got a full bar attached next door. Great establishment.

Stopped in the middle of a hot afternoon to grab a quick late lunch and a beer. I got tempted by the House Clark Street hot-dog and couldn't resist a second one it was just so good. Simple, well balanced with the condiments. I had it at the bar with a beer...after testing a few! I was so warmly welcomed, that I felt at home. Chicago is really an amazing place filled with nice people and a very positive energy!
