“Excellent service. Many popular Thai dishes to choose from, some with a bit of culinary flair. We all enjoyed the exceptional service and delicious food. I was adventurous and ordered the Chef Go Crazy dish from the special menu. It was amazing! The best shrimp I have ever had, fresh clean, and cooked just right. Wonderful assortment of vegetables, which I love and the light sauce was bright and had just enough heat for me. Portions were perfect to share so we could try each other's dishes. We highly recommend this cute and very clean restaurant.”

“Neighborhood restaurant, small business owned. Food is 10000/10!!! A small space but the variety of menu is on point. They can customize too. We had pad see ew (beef). It was saucy and tender. My husband ordered chicken pad thai, which was also 10000/10!!! They have soft serve ice cream that changes flavor every now and then.”

“Love at first bite! I can't say enough about how well both lunch specials tasted. Peak level of flavors and a warm touch of authentic family cooking. The pad thai sauce was amazing and an instant recommendation. The Pad kee mao noodles texture were tender and bouncy. The spice was above medium and enhanced the meal. The teas had a balanced sweetness and plenty of textures. The music playlist matched the cozy and bold color pops. The staff were very friendly and offered some samples of the delicious Ube ice cream. Over all my new favorite Thai restaurant and will explore more of the menu.”

“You can tell that Akkarapol loves what they do. The food at Thai Neighbor is so good and it my staple for a hearty quick meal togo. I don’t have any food restrictions and always choose the “chef’s gone crazy” in the menu because I love being surprised with whatever chef feels like making and I’ve never been disappointed. It’s so creatively delicious that it’s like I’m eating art. Their soft serve is also experimentally yummm. Do yourself a favor and try anything on the menu you will never be disappointed!”

“Really good Thai food. Much more authentic than many other Thai restaurants. Lunch special is well worth it. Main dish and appetizer for around $12. They also have dole whip soft serve, which is wonderful and very close to the one at Dole farms in Oahu. Go, well worth it. I’ll be back, again and again.”

“Ordered the Thai Fried Rice Shrimp & Handcrafted Soda. Both were delicious.”

“This restaurant is a good find in Oak Park if you’re looking for Thai fusion food. The menu seems so interesting but since it was my first time I gotta stick to what I know. I ordered pork and shrimp wontons (steamed) and Basil chicken rice bowls. I SO LOVEEEE the wontons they are really juicy and unlike other places, you can find shrimps in there 😂 The basil chicken rice bowls is too salty for me personally. But, the fried egg is cooked very perfectly where its still runny inside and thats the way I like it. I will be coming back for more. I believe the owner is also the Chef there since I saw his face on the newspaper cutouts on the wall 🥰 Kob Khun mak mak na kaa ♥️”
“Words cannot give this food justice! I’ve been in the city since 2014 searching for my go-to Thai spot and I FINALLY found it last night after my friend suggested it. The service and friendliness of the staff were top tier and every dish we had was out of this world. What a gem of a place. The flavors of the pad thai were unmatched, and don’t even get me started on the custard taiyaki with ice cream. This chef’s talent is unmatched. Can’t wait to come back and to order for delivery and pickup too!”
