“Really good Indian food and the best naan I have ever had. The creamy butter chicken was great and the perfect level of spicy at medium. The chicken was high quality and the sauce was very flavorful. Cute space and friendly owners too’”

“My boyfriend and I decided to try Taste of Egg and we’re so happy we did! Indian street food is our favorite!! From the food, friendly staff and cleanliness, we absolutely recommend!! We both are South Asian and Taste of Egg reminds of us favorite Indian street food dishes! We will definitely be returning and will bring our friends and family!!”

“This restaurant started their chicken menu this week, we tried their butter chicken, garlic naan rice and chicken tikka. Butter chicken paired with garlic naan was heavenly, the ambience was cute and cozy . This might be my new weekend go to restaurant for butter chicken alone.”

“The best authentic indian restaurant in the area for sure! The food is amazing so tasty. The service was very kind and great. Thank you for feeding us 😍”

“This place is a hidden gem for Indian street food! Everything we tried was packed with flavor and tasted super authentic. The chaat was perfectly tangy and spicy, and the pani puri was a highlight. Service was quick and friendly too. Definitely coming back!”

“Taste of Egg in Chicago is a must-visit if you love bold, street-style Indian flavors—especially egg-centric dishes done right. We ordered a wide spread, and every item came out fresh, hot, and made on the spot, which really stood out. The Schezwan Frankie was perfectly spicy with that Indo-Chinese kick, wrapped well and full of flavor. The Amdavadi special sandwich brought true Ahmedabad street food vibes—loaded, spicy, and extremely satisfying. The paneer kadai was rich, well-balanced, and paired beautifully with the fresh rotis and parathas brushed with ghee. You can really taste the freshness when the breads come straight off the tawa. If you’re an egg lover, this place truly shines. The chatni boiled fry and lasan boiled fry were packed with garlic and spice—classic and comforting. The gravies like spicy tufani, spicy dhamaal, and spicy tikhari were bold, flavorful, and unapologetically spicy (in the best way). The boiled egg bhurjee was hearty, well-seasoned, and perfect with roti. Overall, Taste of Egg delivers authentic Indian street-style food, strong spice levels, generous portions, and great freshness. Got just one pic of the food since everything was attacked! If you enjoy spicy food and egg-based dishes with real desi flavor, this place won’t disappoint.”

“Great spot! The food was delicious, well-seasoned, and served fresh. Staff were courteous and attentive. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.”

“My uncle and I had a wonderful time stopping in for a quick omelet sandwich this morning after a swim at the LA Fitness next door. We tried both a red and green omelet sandwich and the flavor was incredible! Although we were stopping in only for a quick bite, I can’t wait to come back for another meal.”
