“This place is a solid, unpretentious spot for great Mexican food. The vibe is super casual and welcoming. The food is tasty and the portions are generous. The steak tacos come loaded with grilled onions and jalapeños, and the quesadillas have a crispy golden-brown crunch with plenty of melted cheese. Plus, the drinks are massive. This is definitely a reliable neighborhood go-to.”

“Family taco run. 🌮 The carbonados and tripa were both delicious. Fresh, flavorful, and definitely worth stopping by. I’ll be back.”

“If you’re looking for real, authentic Mexican food, this is the spot. You can tell it’s family-owned because they truly take pride in what they serve, and the customer service was excellent from start to finish. The tacos were absolutely delicious, full of flavor without tasting greasy or fatty. The salsas were a big highlight fresh, well-balanced, and not overpowered by garlic like many places. The horchata was honestly one of the best I’ve had, and the tortilla chips tasted freshly made, which made everything even better. As a Mexican myself, I really appreciate when a place gets the flavors right, and this place definitely does. Highly recommend.”

“Smaller place but the tacos are amazing. Great ratio of cilantro and onion and steak. Tortilla texture and taste was sublime. Beans and rice were delicious as well. Definitely will hit the spot. Thanks for the excellent service and food!”

“I was feeling a bit sick on a Monday so I ordered the caldo de pollo Also got steak tacos . and a torta No regrets Hand made tortillas. High quality steak. Unique experience This place is pricey but worth the experience”

“Service was excellent and staff was quick with our order. We ordered the heart shaped sopes and they did not disappoint. Great neighborhood find!”

“Tripa (doradita) Lengua Suadero Asada You should ask for your tacos in that order to understand the good quality and the benefit of product/price in this amazing spot in Pilsen. Aun con todas las opcioned que este vecindario puede ofrecer, simplemente Tayahua es un lugar que debe de estar en tu lista de lugares preferidos para probar verdadera comida mexicana ( y que mejor que con un menú inspirado en la cocina de la CDMX ) Micheladas y Piñas Coladas disponibles!”

“Came here a few times before writing this review and their steak tacos are very consistent (and DELICIOUS). The Margaritas weren’t strong at all and even with an additional shot of tequila, it didn’t taste like there was any liquor in it. It won’t let me upload the videos of my food for some strange reason, so all I have is a photo of the menu I took. I would personally recommend their steak tacos!”

“Should try gorditas de asada and Jamaica water, tasty food, the salsa roja was well spicy, you can pay with card or cash and they're kind people.”

“Came here to try it out and saw a video on it from TickTock. These carne asada huaraches are really delicious and full of flavor. Definitely recommend and coming back to try the rest of the menu Lol. Great service. Keep it up! 👍 Thanks for the recommendation, Priscila! 🙂”
