“This place was truly amazing Me and my friend went yesterday around 6:30. They were so busy, but they were able to sit us in the lounge which was amazing. Still, the ambience, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was so amazing me and my friend ordered their caviar potatoes. The Wagyu skewers, the whipped mashed potatoes, the asparagus, the fries, the honey, roasted carrots, and the flat iron steak. They were so good cooked perfectly our server was amazing. He was so attentive. He brought our food out nicely with 100% return again It is most definitely worth the price”

“We were in Chicago to celebrate our anniversary. I chose Sophia’s for dinner as they had awesome reviews for service and menu items. The restaurant is beautiful and romantic. The staff are welcoming and accommodating. Our waiter, Kaya, was knowledgable of the menu and made great wine suggestions. My husband had the 10 oz flat iron steak and I had the jumbo sea scallops, with sides of creamed spinach and white cheddar gratin. Everything was beautifully plated and delicious!! We really loved the unique special touch of the personalized menus to wish us a happy anniversary! Would highly recommend this restaurant for the ambiance, service and top notch cuisine!!”

The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between upscale and welcoming, dim lighting, beautiful presentation, and an energy that makes it feel special without being overwhelming. They even customized the menus saying “Happy Birthday Heaven!” The food was incredible. Everything came out beautifully plated and full of flavor. You can tell they focus on quality ingredients and thoughtful preparation. Each bite felt intentional, from the perfectly cooked steak to the sides and drinks that complemented it so well. What truly made the night stand out, though, was our server, Jonathan. He was attentive without hovering, knowledgeable about the menu, and made the entire experience feel personalized. He checked in at the right moments, offered great recommendations, and made us feel genuinely taken care of. Overall, Sophia Steak delivered on ambiance, flavor, and service. I would absolutely return and highly recommend asking for Jonathan if you go, he elevates the whole experience.”

“My new favourite restaurant in Chicago! We came for Chicago Restaurant Week and tried a few dishes. I absolutely loved the steak, it was melt in your mouth tender and perfectly seasoned. Hamachi crudo & shrimp were so flavourful with different textures. Absolute flavourbomb. I'd skip the potatoes & caviar, the potato to caviar ratio was off. We sat at the bar and Rachel was hands down the best server we've ever had! Definitely coming back to try their normal menu and hopefully get served by Rachel again.”
