“Genuinely one of the best ramen I’ve ever had was here! The food, drinks, and atmosphere were amazing.”

“Amazing ramen in the heart of Bridgeport. Shinya was recommended by a friend and I am so happy we went. Service is fast and friendly. The ramen is delicious as are most other items on the menu. The ambiance in the restaurant is warm and welcoming. The walls are decked out with anime posters, the ceiling is covering in cherry blossoms and lanterns. I highly encourage anyone to make the trip and check it out.”

“Been my go-to spot for ramen for years! Shinya Ramen House never misses. It has that late-night, quaint Japanese diner vibe—super cozy, lowkey, and perfect when you just want something comforting but still really good. The food always comes out fast, hot, and fresh, which I appreciate every single time. My favorite feature is the ordering setup—you sit down, scan a QR code, and can start ordering immediately while you browse the menu. Everything comes out as it’s ready, so you’re not sitting there waiting for your whole order under a heat lamp. It’s literally hot and fresh every time, exactly how it should be. Consistently good, efficient, and just a solid spot overall. Definitely a staple for me. It may behoove you to make a reservation!”

“Very yummy! Ordered the original hakata tonkotsu ramen, and the virgin passion fruit mojito. Would totally recommend!”

“We had beef fried rice 10/10, black garlic tonkatsu ramen 8/10, gyudon 9/10 and karaage 6/10. Karaage should be tender. Great atmosphere. Definitely go again. 💯”

“The food was amazing, the wine was delicious, and the atmosphere was cozy. It wasn't busy and the vibe was perfect for our date night. Highly recommend bringing your girl here if you're looking for a intimate dinner date experience 👍🏽 (we got 3 rolls and a glass of wine each and I spent $100+ so it's not cheap)”

“I was a little scared to try a tik tok/instagram hyped place but it wasn’t a let down. The food was amazing! You can’t go wrong with the appetizers/starters. The ramen was good but the sides just really shined for us. The pork belly was small compared to other places but it was made up for its size through flavor. Nice and fatty with a a good meat ratio. I highly recommend getting reservations because this place gets packed. Line was out the door when we left. Place was decorated cute and appeals to the influencer crowd. My only gripe was the wooden benches that didn’t any have cushions and the chili oil wasn’t spicy, only fragrant.”

“Their chicken karaage is good :). Gyu-don was amazing but the tonkatsu-don was mid Matcha ice cream was yummers”

“Came here late after a late concert looking for something to eat. One of the few food places still open after midnight so I decided to check it out. The black garlic tonkotsu ramen was big, fresh, and delicious. Their chicken Karage was hot spicy and plentiful. To top it all off their Macha ice cream with tayaki blew me away. It was my first time having tayaki and they made a strong first impression. I cannot wait for the next big event in the city so that I can come back for the next round.”

“Took myself on a dinner date. Decided to come to the city to try this place out. I got seated quickly. No one gave me instructions on how to order but I figured it out pretty quickly. You order from online and they bring your food. Food arrived at a good pace, everything was hot, and servings were very generous. Up to this point we're doing great but I wanted some sauces and the wait staff was too busy to notice me and I just let it go. The food and the atmosphere were so good. I just settled in and let it go. I would definitely come again on another night and time to see if there's a difference in the service level.”
