Q Sushi Bar & Omakase

“Had a great experience with the omakase. The dishes all had great combinations of complimentary flavors and the quality of the fish was excellent. We sat at the bar and the staff were fun to chat with. Even enjoyed the music they had playing. Will definitely be back.”

“This is the truly the best quality sushi I have had in the longest time. Great quality sushi, atmosphere, and customer service. Definitely our go to sushi spot!”

“My first time here and this spot did not disappoint! I stopped in for a quick bite after a workout and it was very convenient that it’s only a 6 minute walk away from the gym! I ordered a glass of Chardonnay, miso soup, a spicy tuna roll, and a blue crab motoyaki roll. It was my first time trying fresh crab roll and it was an absolute delight! The fish tasted extremely fresh and had that beautiful melt in your mouth texture. The spicy tuna was so flavorful. Though it was slightly more expensive than I am used to paying, every bite was worth it. Mike made my visit so enjoyable as he was very kind and had a great energy. I will definitely recommend this sushi place to everyone who is looking for good sushi. I will be back when I’m in the area. The ONLY downside is that they didn’t let me flush my ex down the toilet😔 Go to Q, you will say “THANK-Q universe” as your tastebuds transcend this realm.”

“Best sushi I’ve had in the city! Sit at the bar and have some drinks with the staff. Very personable and welcoming crew, will definitely be back. We were on the fence about trying the tasting menu, and so glad that we did. Keep an eye out for a special Thai pop up menu they were discussing in the near future!!”

“I recently visited Q Sushi Bar for an Omakase dinner to celebrate my son Jeevan's birthday, and it was a fantastic choice. He really enjoyed the experience, and the 8-course Omakase tasting menu was both fascinating and very tasty. As someone who explores a wide variety of cuisines, including Japanese, I found the preparation and quality of the fish to be top-notch. The only complaint, if any, was the pricing on the drinks; at $25 per pour for the sake, the cost adds up quickly. While the sake was undeniably high quality, at that price point, we realized afterward that we probably should have just committed to buying a whole bottle for the table. Despite the pricey pours, the service and the artistry of the meal made it a memorable birthday celebration for my son. It is definitely a solid addition to our list of favorite dining experiences in the Chicago area.”

“Great food, service was average, decor was awful. The sashimi and sushi were mostly fabulous. I did not like the coconut on the hamachi or the sugar on the toro but everything else was fabulous I also did not like being served sake in a wine glass.”

“Phenomenal service and Sushi! Highly recommend coming! I know for sure I'll be a regular at Q. I had an amazing experience eating and meeting the Crew at Q. You can tell the High Quality of fish is used! I'm glad I made a reservation ahead of time, due to how busy the restaurant was. I was taken care of in a timely manner!”

“Really fun omakase experience. Sit at the counter, drink with the chefs. Expect Kaiseki style omakase if you go for that $99 and excellent multicourse menu.”

“Fun vibe, delicious food! I was full after the omakase. Stephen, Michael and gang are a hoot! We will definitely be back :)”

“Great restaurant with great omakase. It’s also affordable for an omakase. Additionally, waiter Mike and Chef Park adds to the experience. Location is also plus. When I want great Sushi this is the place for me!”
