“Delicious. We are so excited we found this place. Owner and workers are warm and welcoming and very helpful. Thanks for a great experience.”

“Review update: Still amazing quality and service, one of our favorite BYOB neighborhood spots. Even better now that they have parking in the lot across the street! Wow! The name is absolutely right, this place has FRESH sushi! The fish was delicious and the rolls were generously sized. We live nearby and this is definitely our new sushi spot. 10/10”

“Had a bowl of ramen, extremely filling and delicious! The deep fried maki was also a standout, if you’re in the area it’s definitely worth a visit!”

“Love stumbling across hidden gem restaurants like this. The food is deliciously filling and the owner is very friendly!”

“Had an amazing dinner! Great vibes all around ❤️ would highly recommend the sushi and the entrees! everything was great!! :)”

“A True Sushi Gem! Seriously though. Sushi doesn’t have to be expensive and a bank breaker to be excellent. Fresh Sushi Chicago is unbelievable. This is the kind of local business that makes our city great. The service is dynamite, the atmosphere is cute and charming. Me and my friends took advantage of the BYOB. They lending us nice glassware for our drinks, sake and wine. The fish quality is for real. The presentations are beautiful and artistic. And they are entirely friendly to gluten free persons like me. Every other place I’ve been to has a seriously limited menu of options for GF ppl. Fresh Sushi Chicago modified any roll that I wanted. Pro tip : order the seared salmon. Really like it here and I believe you will too. 10/10 recommend”

“It's Always fresh. I have been here A few times and it's always good and fresh! The miso soup so Delicious!”

“Fresh Sushi Chicago absolutely blew me away! The sushi was incredible fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The customer service was top-notch; everyone was so welcoming and attentive. You have to try the crab rangoon it was so unique and unlike anything I’ve had before. This place is a gem, and I can’t wait to come back!”

“Great experience dining here with my family! The service was excellent, the place was very clean, and the sushi was fresh and delicious. You can really taste the quality. We’ll definitely be back—highly recommend!”

“hadn’t known anyone who’d tried this place but we loved it!! they were so kind, especially with it being our first time there. the food was delicious and we will definitely be going back!!”

“We stopped by for a friend's birthday and the service is top notch. It's a very quaint warm spot and the staff was welcoming, friendly and very accommodating. They offered a sample taste which made my friend who doesn't eat sashimi a new fan! They have a happy hour and lots of creative sushi rolls. Update: been there a few times and food quality and service not consistent.”

“I hate to have to write this review. I’ve been ordering and coming to this place for years now. The food is amazing, great quality, and delicious. However, because of this restaurant I am now banned from Uber Eats for doing a chargeback on my CC due to being charged for food that I never received. I placed an order and this restaurant called me to tell me they were out of a specific appetizer. They canceled my order and told me I wouldn’t be charged but they were wrong. So they told me to place another order and I did. Long story short Uber didn’t want to give me my $ back for the order that was canceled because the restaurant accepted and was “preparing the order”. I am now banned from Uber Eats and Postmates. And the least the restaurant could’ve done was add an extra crab rangoon or something in my other order for the time wasted and for the mix up. Sadly, won’t be coming here again and won’t be recommending this place anymore.”
