“Tried the Spicy Crab Mayo Roll ($4.41) and the Fatty Salmon Avocado Roll ($5.59). Both were tasty, though a bit expensive for the portion size. Tasted like the ones sold at 7-11s in Japan.”

“MMM THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THE MATCHA & SUSHI IS GREAT. 1000/10”

“I had an opportunity to try the matcha at OniMaki. I had a few people rave about the good quality matcha. I must agree that this place has some of the best matcha that I have had other than in Tokyo. They have a variety of drink selections but I wanted to try the mango sticky rice matcha. This drink was by far the most unique and delicious matcha drink I have had. There is a great balance between the matcha flavor and the sweetness. It is the perfect balance. The shop has plenty of seating and other food and drink offerings. I highly recommend OniMaki if you like matcha or just want to experience what good quality matcha can offer.”

“really good matcha nice and friendly place overall you should come!”

“This place is addicting. Matcha 10/10. Hand rolls 10/10. Fresh fish. Pricing of hand rolls so affordable. About $5 per roll. Got the earl grey matcha and premium matcha. Easily best matcha in the area.”

“we got the black sesame matcha and the mango sticky rice matcha. the matcha tasted really yummy! both flavors didn't stand out as much as the matcha flavor, they were more like flavor additions to the matcha for lack of better words. i think i wouldve liked it to be a little stronger of a taste but the matcha was yummy so i dont mind.. would recommend the mango sticky rice matcha over the black sesame matcha as the flavor of mango was a bit stronger and it had chunks in it which was fun! price was high too esp cuz those were speciality matchas i think id stick to a reg matcha latte next time!”

“I got the mango sticky rice matcha (75% sugar) and it was amazing. Perfectly sweetened and I love the mango chunks”

“Matcha so good I went to heaven and back 10/10 would kiss the baristas hands that made this 💍”

“I love the idea of serving sushi with matcha, so we were super excited to try this place 🍵🍙 The interior is cute and modern. It was pretty packed when we came so there was about a 15 min wait, but we were still able to try the special hand rolls: toro, wagyu, and spicy crab. For drinks we ordered the mango sticky rice matcha and the Valentine’s special 💕 🍵 The mango sticky rice was our favorite! If you’ve had mango sticky rice ice cream, it’s like that in matcha form. The mango bits were delicious, and the sweet rice + coconut cream topping gave it such a unique flavor with the mild, vegetal matcha. The rose strawberry matcha was beautiful — juicy strawberry with a rose-flavored pink cream and crushed rose petals. 🍙 The fatty toro was my favorite. The fish tasted super fresh, the rice texture was perfect (not hard even though cold), and the nori stayed crisp with instructions on how to roll it perfectly. The spicy crab was creamy with a nice kick. The wagyu was okay — more like spicy beef than what I expected texture-wise (my bf liked it though). I’d want to try the salmon next time 🍣 Overall I’d definitely come back for the mango sticky rice matcha and toro hand rolls. Love seeing such a unique matcha + sushi concept.”

“The onimaki rolls were so flavorful and yummy !! Perfect quick little lunch with amazing drinks!! Especially the ube matcha !! Love that there’s a video playing on the wall showing people how to unwrap the onimaki. Super helpful!!! Going to go back to try the other handrolls!”
