“One of the best meals I’ve had in a while! Everything was absolutely delicious. I loved the arctic char! Desserts were light. Highly recommend coming here.”

“The sweet potato croquettes and mango sticky rice were phenomenal! The noodles were good too, wanted a little more yu choy in there but the tender beef was a standout. Service was attentive and friendly. I really appreciated the accommodation they made with the thai tea to use alternative milk (joking they plucked a coconut from their garden for me lol). Quickly became one of my favorite restaurants in Evanston!”

“Fantastic meal with thoughtful dishes, drinks and service! As a vegetarian, I was very impressed by how my options were elevated and didn’t feel like an afterthought. My friend really enjoyed her Arctic Char plate as well. Will definitely be back!”

“Everything about this place was perfect and I can’t recommend this place enough! The food was incredible—one of the best meals I’ve had in recent memory. And our server was incredibly kind and gave excellent food recs. We will definitely come back here next time we are in Evanston.”

“A wonderful spot to celebrate a special occasion! We went here for a birthday and were treated with care and kindness. Our server, Shi, was super friendly and accommodating to all our needs. The vibe and ambience of this restaurant were really warm and inviting. There was relaxing live guitar music and dim lighting with beautiful decorations. Of course, the food was delicious as well. We tried the coconut-curry braised chicken and the sautéed tiger prawn and thin rice noodles. Both dishes had the perfect flavor and presentation, complementing each other well. We finished our meal with a delicious chocolate mousse on the house. The food was a bit pricey, but the portion sizes are adequate and left us completely satisfied. If you’re seeking out a chic restaurant for a special night or just a hearty meal, try NaKorn!”

“Felt warmly welcomed right away. Food was delicious and interesting, and service was friendly. Especially loved the braised beef with noodles. Highly recommended if you're in the area!”

“Congratulations to the entire NaKorn staff on your 12th anniversary! The service was outstanding, the drinks were excellent and the food was absolutely delicious - as always. Thank you for a wonderful night!”

“Unreal food and cocktails with tons of vegan options. Kind staff and delicious food!”

“I have been here about 4 times in total including today. Incredible food, friendly service from a variety of their servers, and a relaxed atmosphere to match. Between all of my visits some of my favorite dishes have been the shrimp tapioca crackers, the fried branzino, and have had a variety of items on their specials that change out every now again (Croissant sticky rice ice cream dessert, Hat Yai Fried chicken, etc.). The Bangkok mule is also a solid cocktail!”

“Amazing food, service, and ambiance. Lively but not too loud to have a conversation. Very accommodating. Food was spectacular. Only "negative" is it was pricey, but not more so than most similar (and some not as good) restaurants. Worth it for us, will be back!”

“We had a wonderful experience at Nakorn kitchen in Evanston! The ambience is absolutely beautiful – warm, modern, and inviting. The food was delicious, with amazing presentation that truly felt like art on a plate. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who shared her philosophy that “you eat with your eyes first” — and it shows in every dish. Even the small details impressed us, like how they thoughtfully adjusted the ice cube in my husband’s Old Fashioned. The service, flavors, and care in every detail made the evening special. We can’t wait to return and try something new!”
