“Delicious dinner for a special occasion. We loved the specialty cocktails, too. This cheesecake dessert was great! We will come back again!”

“Went on a date with my favorite boy! And Mariko made the night extra special for us! Not only was she very enthusiastic and knew the best recommendations to help us , since this was our first time there. She was amazing and attentive and just overall the sweetest and made our night! Would go back just for her !!”

“Went here for an anniversary lunch, they greeted up with a free drink (non-alcoholic sparking tea) which was a nice touch. We started the lunch with the spicy salmon dip which I highly recommend followed by an assortment of their maki and hand rolls. For dessert we opted for the yuzu pie and it was delicious! Would definitely visit again.”

“I absolutely loved this restaurant! They have a great variety of vegetarian dishes. I ordered the miso soup, the Chan Chan, which was a generous portion and absolutely delicious, and one of their vegetarian sushi rolls. Everything was amazing! My husband ordered the lamb chops, and he loved them as well. The service was excellent, the cocktails were delicious, and the atmosphere was spectacular. It’s the perfect place for a special occasion. I would definitely come back the next time I’m visiting Chicago.”

“Great. As a Londoner visiting, this is the first restaurant I’ve found in Chicago which feels the same as decent high end London. Great. Will return. Must book in advance (even at 5pm)”

“We celebrated a graduation here recently and throughly enjoyed the food. Delicious small plates for sharing, although I see they also have larger mains, we shared several hot and cold plates and some nigiri. At the recommendation of the waiter, I ordered the Nashi No Hana for a drink, which was beautiful and very delicious. My husband enjoyed the house made ginger beer. Out of our various shared plates my favorites were the Buri To Kabu (hamachi), and the Scallop Motoyaki. My only comments were that for both of the nigiri we ordered, the rice fell apart when trying to pick it up, it seems the rice wasn’t the correct texture. Overall a very enjoyable experience and one I would repeat if I was in the city again.”

“We had such a fun night at Momotaro! We sat at the bar and watched the chefs make our incredibly delicious and creative sushi. Service was on point and the restaurant’s atmosphere is energetic without being loud or overwhelming. We can’t wait to return!”

“My husband and I had a fabulous time! We had 2 drink, 2 rolls, 1 Miso & the Chicken/Steak skewers and it was always delicious. Our waters were constantly refilled, our waitress was lovely and the place was inviting/clean/fun! We look forward to telling our friends/family back in Florida about this place! - Catherine 🤍”

“Came here for a date and had the best time! Phil was our server and he was very informative and made the dinner very special for us!”

“Great experience at Momotaro! Every dish was expertly crafted to perfection and every detail was well thought out. Everything came out promptly and at the right temperature. The restaurant is beautiful and has a great ambiance. The service was a little slower than I would have expected for such an expensive high end restaurant but when we did receive service it was wonderful. Will definitely be back again!”
