Zentli — one of Evanston's strongest mexican spots. Order the Enfrijoladas. If you drink, start at the bar, and good for vegetarians. "I always love when chips come out hot and fresh" — Rye

The vibe of this restaurant is so cool, with gorgeous artwork and ambient lighting. The staff were very friendly, our food came out so quickly, and the food was delicious! I got the alambre and al pastor tacos, and a margarita.

Amazing tacos. Really amazing taste. A little small for the price though. I'm skinny and I could eat 10 of them and they are like 7 dollars a pop. But really really tasty. Def worth a try

Excellent food. Fantastic flavors. Parking is a little bit of a challenge (can't park next to the building), but there is usually plenty of street parking around.

“Kicking myself for not getting over here sooner.”
Kicking myself for not getting over here sooner! Sat and the bar with my mom and had the chance to chat with the owner, Piloto. He’s a super talented artist and his mom’s mole straight up rules. Everything we ate was on point and the prices are right. A new go to for refined Mexican

“We went @8:30pm on a Friday night.”
We went @8:30pm on a Friday night. It was crowded, which is something for Evanston that late not downtown. We were asked if we had a reservation, and we didn't, but still were seated at a cozy table almost immediately. We were excited to be there based upon all the buzz in the local Facebook groups. The menu had interesting dishes on the left and tacos on the right. I was being wishy washy about it, but remembered being chastised at another place for playing it too safe. My wife ordered the enchiladas & I got the dish with the black bean stuffed tortilla and chose the mushrooms over the meat (I think it was tiacoyos) . We also got chips and salsa and wife got a cocktail. Chips were fresh and crispy. Salsa was medium hot, where it's got, but tasty, but the kind you have to keep eating to somehow cool your mouth. I ate all the salsa. Her cocktail looked and tasted fabulous, it was the one with the purple corn. The food came fast. She liked her enchiladas. We both loved the dish I got. I was glad I didn't play safe with tacos. I will try another off left side next time and tacos on visit #3. The room was buzzing with conversation and people were still coming in to eat. We split a flan. This an was an experience. After I took the first bite, I had to put down my fork and stare off into space and thought to myself that this was a life changing flan, and that life was really good and renewed my faithing the world. I went from crust to point, my wife went the other way. Tastes subtly changed as we went in either direction. You must get this flan. The waitress was great, her assistant (he was more than a busboy) was also very attentive. For sure exceeded the buzz and is worth a visit. I follow 3 chefs careers in my life, Chef Chris DeBarr and Chef Marc Bruckel in New Orleans and Chef Johnny Park in Chicagoland. I may have to add the chef here to my rouster. Revisited today a year plus later, and it's still awesome.

“This place is an awesome addition to our neighborhood and Evanston.”
This place is an awesome addition to our neighborhood and Evanston. Atmosphere is nice, service outstanding and the food is cooked perfectly and so tasty. We split an appetizer of ceviche and split 4 tacos. The ceviche was so fresh and delicious and served with chips. The saudero taco is beef brisket and very tender. We also had chicken, chorizo and steak. All were filling and flavorful. Dessert was churros with vanilla ice cream and tres leches. Our server was so sweet and informative. We will definitely be back. Muy bien y gracias!
