Saw a posting of this place on YouTube and had to make that drive back to Chicago. On the left chicken Quesadilla right Aracherra tacos... Go early. As they close @ 3pm it was packed at 11 am. Now, back to the goodies. That quesadilla is so flavorful and had nice melty cheesey goodness. The steak omg was well cooked, not overdone, and well seasoned. NO COMPLAINTS on the rice and beans. You can see all the work being put in from all the. staff. You can eat there u might have 2 wait for a table the staff was very pleasant and professional. In my Arnold voice " I'll B Back"..

Happy I ran across this restaurant on instagram, omg the steak tacos, with the big piece of steak was so good with the green sauce. That sauce is so good. All the staff was friendly & inviting! Also they only accept cash so don’t forget to bring cash! Food was so good!

As soon as I entered, the owner personally welcomed me from behind the counter, which felt really warm and genuine. OMG, this is the best food ever, my favorite place. I never had Mexican food this great in my life. I highly recommend it. Everything here is delicious. I just wish they stayed open later than 3:00 p.m.

Service was friendly and fairly quick, though there’s room for improvement in attentiveness. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, making it a comfortable place to dine in. Overall, it’s a spot worth visiting if you’re craving authentic flavors, and I’d come back to try more of their menu.

I tried the arrachera taco and it was soooo good. The taco has rice and beans and a large portion of arrachera. I gave service 2 stars because it took so long, but in their defense they are really busy. Its also very smokey inside from the grill, so I took my food and walked half a block to St. Paul's church and ate them outside on the picnic tables they have set up. Will definitely go back to try the tacos de carne asada.
