Tortazo - Willis Tower — straightforward mexican in Loop. Feels like it's been there since before the neighborhood changed. Sam H.: "The meat in the chicken Milanesa torta is perfectly seasoned and tender"

Excellent food and excellent service. I hadn’t known this place was there beneath the Tower.

“First time trying this and it was so delicious.”
First time trying this and it was so delicious! Very impressed. Went right at closing time so didn’t get the full service/atmosphere experience but will be back! I had the chorizo and queso torta which came with chips and a little dip.

“The food a little salty, the staff for picking up your order forgets the name of the person.”
The food a little salty, the staff for picking up your order forgets the name of the person. Prices are economical. A lot of places to sit and eat , bring napkins they only give you one and no spoon for the salsa

“The chicken milanesa torta was a nice spin on the classic Mexican torta.”
The chicken milanesa torta was a nice spin on the classic Mexican torta. The salsa was flavorful and not too spicy. The churros were great. Very crispy exterior and soft interior with the right amount of cinnamon sugar on the outside. I was apprehensive to try the eggplant milanesa torta as I’m not the biggest fan of vegetarian alternatives but it was bursting with flavor, and we ended up going a second time. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the drink, but my boyfriend enjoyed it. It may be more of an acquired taste. The service was quick and the staff very friendly. They have more of a modern vibe, and the atmosphere was okay considering it is a quick spot in Willis Tower.

The service is amazing we were able to taste some of the drinks we haven't had before deciding what we want the horchata is also freshly made, the chips are crispy and if you enjoy chunky guacamole as much as I do I definitely recommend that, as well as the corn pablano chowder is creamy with great flavor, the crispy chicken melenasea was crispy and everything complimented each other so well, I can confidently say even as someone who isn't big on chicken I would get this anytime I come here. Their salsa is also really good for those into a smokey flavor they have that for you and if you more into fresh citrusy feel they got that too. All and all very impressed!

“Had the Corn Pablano Chowder, Crispy Chicken Milenesa Torta, and Almost Naked (guacamole and chips).”
Had the Corn Pablano Chowder, Crispy Chicken Milenesa Torta, and Almost Naked (guacamole and chips). The crispyness of the chicken was perfect and the total was balanced well with a citrus slaw type toping. The chowder was amazing and had a great flavor from the pablano!!! My favorite for sure!

“Located on the 1st floor food court, inside Willis Tower (formally the Sears Tower) on S.”
Located on the 1st floor food court, inside Willis Tower (formally the Sears Tower) on S. Wacker Dr. and W. Jackson Blvd. This is a counter-serve eatery inspired by Mexican food from Chef Rick Bayless. You can either order at the kiosk or with the cashier and find an open table. We were on a 'Foodie Tour', and this was a stop for dessert. We had their 'Almost Naked Churro', which is a fried dough pastry covered with cinnamon and sugar. It tasted pretty good, almost as good as the churros I've had in Mexico. Service was friendly and efficient. I would like to return and try other menu items.

“Had an ICED TEA and a bowl of CRISPY CHICKEN PEANUT CRUNCH with the seasoning on the side.”
Had an ICED TEA and a bowl of CRISPY CHICKEN PEANUT CRUNCH with the seasoning on the side. The seasoning tasted A1 and when mixed with the crispy chicken peanuts it just tasted out of the world. Recommendation is to just try these and also the HORCHATA DRINK. It is being ordered by many. People working at the Willis Tower if they want have some cold beverage then they take one HORCHATA.

“Chill place that is moderately busy.”
Chill place that is moderately busy. Ordered a chicken milanesa torta. I didn't expect much, but got hit with a $21 bill. The milanesa tasted like a fantastically zesty cordon bleu. Breading is perfectly fried to a golden brown and coleslaw is gently placed on top. I was genuinely impressed which doesn't happen too often, especially when it comes to famous chef chains. It's a small area similar to the size you'll find in airports and they have a bar as well.

Delicious! Super friendly staff and amazing food. As a Mexican, it was relieving to finally eat such authentic after being away from home for so long. The salsas are really tasty and actually spicy, drinks are traditional and great and everything we ate was delightful.

We stop at Tortazo in the Urban Hall food court located in the Willis Tower. We were surprised to find a Mexican torta restaurant after visiting the Skydeck. The food was good, the drinks were great and the service was excellent. The atmosphere in the Urban Hall food court is nice and relaxed. We also enjoyed the beautiful design and architecture of the tower while enjoying our meals.

“Decent tortas, the steak was well-cooked and the avocados were fresh.”
Decent tortas, the steak was well-cooked and the avocados were fresh. The salsa verde was a little too salty but I still ate it to swallow down the tortas/chips. The service was amazing, the cashier and waitress were phenomenal and accommodated my needs! Great service, decent food; a good option while inside the Sears Tower.
