“Food was good in Indian Mexican fusion and service from Anni and Vijesh was fantastic”

“Mexican fusion at its best. The chicken tica taco was a flavor bomb. The chignon was hearty and satisfying. The Dorado is one of the better fish tacos I've had. Don't forget the salsa bar. The avocado and jalapeño salsas were my two favorites. Definitely coming back the next time I'm in Chicago.”

“This was my first time visiting Taco Maya, and I have to say it exceeded my expectations. I had seen a few of their other locations around the city but had never stopped in before, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. The restaurant was clean, well maintained, and had a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the ordering process easy. The menu offers a large variety of options, and since it was my first visit, I decided to stick with something familiar. Overall, I was very pleased with my experience. Between the clean environment, helpful staff, and enjoyable food, Taco Maya made a great first impression, and I will definitely be coming back.”

“Great quick casual tacos. Diverse menu with many different types of tacos”

“Fantastic place and great staff. Great flavors and huge menu.”

“This was truly fantastic. Not only was it incredibly quick but flavor profiles were on point. Our server was kind and attentive, even gave us a free drink cup. I rec their signature taco with pineapple if you go.”

“Our first time here and we may have just found our go-to Mexican spot! An interesting mix of traditional tacos and Indian inspired tacos available. I went with the birria and Nashville hot chicken tacos and would order both again! My partner ordered the chicken 65, chicken tikka, and shrimp (oops, consumed before the pic) and loved all of them. They offer complimentary chips and warm salsa and also have a great salsa bar; do yourself a favor and try the jalapeño hot salsa! The salsa bar was kept immaculately clean. They also have a fountain Coke machine that you serve yourself from. The rice and beans were also delicious and the beans are halal friendly.”

“Absolutely amazing! I tried the samosa tacos, and they were out of this world — the perfect blend of Indian spice and Mexican flair. The crispy samosa filling paired with the corn tortillas and fresh toppings created such a unique, flavorful combo. Every bite was bursting with flavor. You can really tell they put thought and heart into this fusion.”

“I was really craving tacos with plenty of vegetarian options, and this place came up while I was searching, so I decided to give it a try. The restaurant has mostly indoor seating with plenty of tables, so finding a spot wasn’t an issue. I ordered the paneer taco and the samosa taco, which the staff told me is their most popular vegetarian option. They were super friendly and happy to give me recommendations. I also loved that they served complimentary warm chips and salsa, just like many Mexican restaurants do. Both tacos were really good, but the samosa taco was definitely my favorite. It was such a fun fusion idea and worked surprisingly well. The real highlight for me, though, was the salsa bar. They had such a great variety, from mild to seriously spicy. As a salsa verde girlie, the green salsa was easily my favorite. The habanero salsa had the perfect kick, and the avocado salsa was delicious too. I really enjoyed my meal and would definitely come back the next time I’m in Chicago.”
