Ordering and payment is done at a kiosk. Service was still friendly and quick. The bar is separate ordering and seating from the eating area. Prices are expected for an airport.

“I am very happy this restaurant is here.”

I am very happy this restaurant is here. Saved me from conventionally ordinary airport fare. The food is quite tasty, prepared to order from fresh ingredients. I would say that (if you enjoy this category of food) then don’t hesitate. Rick Bayless has brought cuisine to the airport. All else, such as seating, is conventional airport. This is not a sit-down table service place but serves the need of people who are passing through.

Had a delicious torta at Tortas Frontera at the Chicago airport. Pro tip is definitely to order ahead. Right before take off I placed the order for when I would arrive. Upon arrival my torta was hot and ready to go, which was a great call since the line is very long here. I ordered the beef quesabirria torta which was money! The meat was tender and a bit spicy, great handheld meal while getting to my next flight.

Got to the airport early and was in need of a good quality cocktail and a snack. I ordered the Ancho Mezcal drink as well as the almost naked guacamole and chips. It was AMAZING. Such good quality, I was super impressed for an airport restaurant. The server/waitress Reyna was so lovely. So attentive and on top of everything. Would recommend this to anyone craving a Mexican spot /good food in this airport.

Absolutely delicious! I ordered a Cuban torta and my husband a milanesa and they were delicious, every ingredient was fresh and put it together very neat, I’ll love it the tortas were lil bit bigger!
