“The rice is bomb.”

The rice is bomb. I got the carnitas by the pound. I used it to make flautas and they were delicious! I like that I can walk to it also. It is a hidden little gem on 39th. They even make tacos with all the fixings! Everyday is a different special also. They have tables for dining in also. I recommend you stop in for a visit and give them your business being its fairly new and all.

“First issue, don’t look at the online menu prices.”

First issue, don’t look at the online menu prices. They updated their menu in store but not online. Example. Online steak tortas are $5.99. In store they’re $8.99. I feel it’s not good business to advertise something for a price and sell It for something different in store. Second issue. I ordered their pork tacos and was surprised when I got home and bit down on a rather large bone in my taco. On top of that the meat was dry. Will never go here again I’ve never had food this bad.

Listen to me! Whoever gave this place one star clearly eats chicken nuggets every night. Let’s talk about the food. Hands down, they have the best salsa. It might not look fancy, but it was perfectly salty with a spicy kick that bit your lips back. I instantly fell in love. They had regular corn chips, and the salsa dressed them up beautifully. The lengua taco didn’t have too much fat and wasn’t chewy. I added some of their green sauce, which was creamy with just the right touch of tang and spice. After finishing that, I moved on to the chorizo taco. Surprisingly, it wasn’t oily at all—it was fluffy. I don’t know how they do it, but you should ask them. I added a little red sauce from the ketchup-looking container. The sauce was slightly sweet with a hint of spice, and it was perfect. Last but not least, I tried the steak Gordita taco. The shell was homemade, crispy, and fluffy. The steak was beautifully charred and full of flavor. The combination of textures and flavors made me feel like I went straight to food heaven for a moment. This will definitely be my favorite spot. On top of that, the place was incredibly clean. No splatter on the grill and everything looked pristine. 🥰

Hole in the wall restaurant. Little hidden gem. Their gorditos/ sopes are handmade not store bought. Their chorizo is very flavorful!!! A must try
