“Delicious matcha & food!! My fav was the coconut matcha!!!”

“The food was delicious and very flavorful, and everything came out in a good amount of time. The matcha was amazing, and overall everything felt totally worth the money while still being super affordable. The staff was very nice, and they have a good amount of seating available. I would recommend getting there before the rush, though, because it started getting really crowded shortly after we arrived. The coffee and matcha were both so good that we had to take one to go! I can't wait to come back and bring more friends. It's also cool that it's connected to a convenience store where you can buy other drinks and snacks as well.”

“easily one of the best matchas in all of chicago & the SWEETEST family business!!”

“Absolutely loved this place! The food was fresh, flavorful, and full of authentic taste—every bite was so satisfying. The service was friendly and welcoming, and everything came out quickly. The atmosphere is casual but vibrant, perfect for a quick stop or a relaxed meal. And their matcha is surprisingly amazing—so smooth and refreshing! Definitely one of my favorite spots. I’ll be coming back for sure!”

“This place is the opposite of an anachronism. It is a convenience store with a tiny restaurant in the back serving incredibly old school delicious authentic Mexican food, and it has tricked out Matcha drinks. All in one. Family owned and run. I had the Taco Dinner and I am a bit biased, but the Chorizo was my favorite. Fantastic. The steak (Asada) killed it too.”

“they went viral for their matcha, RIGHTFULLY SO, but wow their asada meat is some of the best and most flavorful i’ve had at a taqueria ! nothing but love for the kind people who work here!! 🤞🏼🩷 there was no wait when i went but i wouldn’t mind waiting for this level of quality!”

“Stumbled upon this shop while walking around town, I ordered the Tripe, Pork, and Barbacoa. They were so good, I had to get more. So flavourful and satisfying, it’s the perfect way to conquer a craving for tacos.”

“The tacos came with fried chicken, which I was not anticipating from a taco place… but maybe it’s because I’m not a local. However, the food was still fantastic! The flavor was incredible (two chicken tacos, beans, rice) and the price was super reasonable compared to some other places in Chicago. I’d definitely recommend this place. I removed the tomatoes from my tacos in the pic, hence the reason they’re on my beans lol.”
