“Great service food was really good fast and fresh avocado was perfect and the portions were generous. Great deal for the price.”

“Was on a long walk and needed some food before heading to a friend’s. So glad I chose to stop here! The person behind the counter was super nice and friendly, and the food was SO good! I got pork tacos with cilantro and onion - my go to - and they did not disappoint. No pineapple with the pork, which I’m very thankful for as I prefer it without, and all the ingredients tasted so fresh. Love the red salsa (didn’t use the green) - good kick without it being overpowering. Inexpensive and delicious, Roger’s Park is lucky to have this place.”

“This is one of the absolute best places to eat tacos in Chicago, and definitely the best tacos in Rogers Park. I've been coming here for years - it was the first taco I had when I first visited Chicago 15 years ago and I have yet to find a place that compares. My absolute favorite is the cochinita pibil, but I also like their asada taco. I also love that this place is open very late and gets the most eclectic mix of people (very representative of the neighborhood). and their prices are very reasonable. please eat here!”

“Been wanting menudo and this is the closes where I live. Ok it was soft and so good with big serving. The lady who serve is very friendly and nice. I like this place! Highly recommended”

“Very original l, pleasant people and the taste of the food and drinks are like they use to, it’s so GOOD!!!”

“This is good food, I had a tongue torta and it was a very decent serving size, I've yet to taste their tacos and the tongue was a little overcooked but the service was really good and it feels like stepping into a different decade. The salsas are not spicy.”

“Great taqueria! The service is great and the food is delicious. The prices are super fair and I love stopping in. I usually get the same thing, but their menu is extensive and I’m looking forward to trying their other items.”

“Title: Dangerous and Unacceptable Experience — Found a Wooden Skewer Inside My Chimichanga I ordered a chimichanga from this restaurant and was absolutely shocked to discover a large wooden skewer hidden inside the food. It was not visible and not part of the dish’s structure—this was a foreign object that had no business being there. When I bit into the chimichanga, the skewer injured the inside of my mouth. This was not only painful but could have caused serious harm had I bitten down any harder or swallowed. There is no excuse for something like this making it out of the kitchen. It raises serious concerns about quality control and food safety practices. I will be reporting this incident to the health department and to the delivery platform I used. No customer should ever have to experience this kind of negligence.”
