Friendly, good service, and great food. My first time having pozole and I’ll definitely be back. We had the red and the green pozole. The tostados, crushed red pepper, and avocado all stepped things up a notch. I could’ve used a bit more heat, but delicious nonetheless.

The atmosphere is very relaxing and calming. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The food is amazing, flavorful with great portions. Honestly wish I could fit more food in my stomach.

“They are the best tamales we have taste.”

They are the best tamales we have taste. (We’ve been everywhere for a real Mexican tamal taste, Little Village, Pilsen and no luck) Even thought their prices went up, we can’t stop coming back. 👌🏽 I wish they can update their answering phone message to see if they indeed are open for take out or closed. 😢 👍🏼👍🏼

They charged me 8.50$ fir 3 tamales. Double the price of any other location. And to finish the tamales where not finished cooking. Is embarrassing to charge that much for mediocre food. I don't recommend going here.

“Just fantastic tamales.”

Just fantastic tamales. I’ve been coming here my whole life—my mother taught at the neighborhood school, and we always begged her to pick them up for breakfast, and pozole when we were feeling sick. The chicken and pork tamales are both fantastic—their rojo is delicious, but their verde is the star of the show. It’s all great.
