“Chorizo and steak tacos were great! We went in the morning (around 10:30am) and it was not busy.”

“We tried a lot of different things from their menu. El platillo de fajitas de pollo were incredible & the best deal! Came with bean, rice, guacamole & tortillas. We also tried a taco estilo Lulú con pico de gallo & it was perfect! Just the right amount of a spicy kick! The peach margarita was also refreshing & not too strong but strong enough IYKYK. They also have a lot of Jarrito flavors that I haven’t seen in store! We tried the watermelon Jarrito & it was so good! I will definitely be back with friends!”

“If you’re looking for an authentic Mexican spot in West Loop, Taco Lulu is it! I feel like this is the kind of Mexican food that I grew up on, so dining here felt really nostalgic. We got an assortment of things to share: pollo tacos, skirt steak tacos, pollo burrito, nachos, and rojo and verde tamales. No joke, everything was so good and flavorful. The pollo tacos were generously sized, the nachos were loaded (we couldn’t stop eating these, and could’ve easily ordered another plate), the burrito was stuffed and delicious - every bite was a winner. The margaritas were large and hit the spot - we loved the mango and strawberry on the rocks. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend Taco Lulus!”

“Ya llevaba tiempo buscando un buen lugar de tacos dentro del centro de Chicago, y me encantó este lugar. El concepto súper lindo, con el logo del perrito en la Taquería, ME ENCANTÓ. Pedimos una variedad de platillos y la verdad es que todo vale la pena, mi favorita sin duda fue la quesadilla con carne. El servicio súper rápido, y el establecimiento muy fácil de localizar.”

“Tried Taco Lulu for the first time and had a great experience. We ordered a mix of items including the nachos, guac and chips with queso, guacamole burrito, cheese quesadilla, veggie tacos, and the veggie platter. Everything was really good, but the queso was the standout. It had so much flavor with a slight kick that made it even better. Definitely one of my favorites I have had in a while. The overall vibe is casual and relaxed, making it a great spot to try a variety of dishes. I would definitely come back again!”

“I ordered my food to go. I also ordered it on one of their kiosks. Fast service. They have Pepsi products. They also charge 3% fee for using a card.”

“Great spot for a quick lunch in West loop. Order online and grab it to go? I went during lunch. They were crazy busy but they are fast! Pretty impressive if you ask me! Two notable things make this place elite. One, you get squeezed bottles of red and green salsa at the table. ( I hate those stupid plastic portion cups for dining in.... plastic people!!!!) And two which may be my favorite thing EVER!!! The horchata has free refills at the soda fountain. What!!!! OMG!!!”

“I recently stopped by Taco Lulu in the Loop and it was such a fun, laid back spot. First off, I love that the restaurant is named after the owner’s dog, Lulu……you’ll see her all over the space, and it just adds a really personal, welcoming touch to the whole vibe. Now the food… the tacos were fresh, flavorful, and actually satisfying, not just something that looks good for photos. The ingredients tasted quality, and everything came together really well. I also appreciated that they have a variety of options, so even if you’re not in the mood for traditional tacos, there’s still plenty to choose from. The atmosphere is casual, colorful, and perfect for a quick bite, a chill hangout, or even a low-key date. It’s one of those easy spots you can pop into and just enjoy without overthinking it. Overall, Taco Lulu is definitely a solid go-to in the Loop especially with Cinco de Mayo coming up, it’s a great spot to keep on your list.”

“Love the comfy atmosphere and the amazing taste of each dish! The beans and salsas added so much flavor to Taco Salad and nachos. The homemade guacamole is a must-try! The dining area is clean. Love the fish tacos and the chorizo and egg tacos!!”

“Food was delicious! Had to order in one room at register or pad then food pick up from the bar on the other side”
