Great little fruit market providing authentic Jamaican/Caribbean and African foods. I’ve been going here for over 30 years. They have the real Jamaican sweet potatoes and this is the only place I’ve found it.

I stopped in here to browse for essentials while visiting the neighborhood for 3 nights. No scented candles but plenty of beautiful votive candles. Decided to check out the fruit and walked away with some delicious grapes for $6.08 I believe. Checkout lady was cool and nice.

I love that market it's a great place to shop in the prices are reasonable I absolutely love their dollar rack where you can get a whole bunch of veggies or fruit!!👍👍👍🌱🌿😆😆😆! The downside of it is that everybody stares in everybody's face as if they don't have a life I think it gets kind of tight and suffocating in there. It's almost like people stare at each other I think that's really sickening rude and disrespectful but other than that it's a great Market overall and I will be back there again and again and again LOL😆😆😆👍💯❤.!! I also forgot to add that the staff is really friendly👍👍👍

Local, well priced with an exotic and fresh, but simple selection. I love how affordable this place is and their produce always tastes fresh. Their produce is by far the star here and they have a wonderful selection of difficult to find Caribbean and warm climate fruits, vegetables and tubers. Their spices are wide ranging and ethnic. I always find myself branching out with atypical ingredients when I shop here. Meats and dried goods are fine. Everything you need with friendly and welcoming staff.

This is a very special grocer. They cater to a unique variety of people from around the world who desire the same food and cosmetic items they would have in the countries they are from. In addition to that they offer the best produce and fruits you can find in rogers park. Don't waste your money at the big box store next door . One time of shopping here and you 'll be back because you just can't find the quality or prices anywhere else. Great family business.

Have loved this place for over 30 years. Always a great neighborhood feel. Reflects the diversity of the neighborhood. Great selection of fruits and vegetables Later, when they introduced a meat counter, it fell into place perfectly. Offering everything from ground beef to hooves. Go here and be charmed.
