I was quite disappointed given reviews on this place.
The service was slow, and when I finally received my food, it smelled sour and the meat was dry like it had been cooked a week ago And the worst part was when I saw a roach crawl across the table, so I would definitely avoid eating here.
I bought 2 pozoles a green one and a red one approximately 3 weeks ago.

10/6/2024 Hello there! Im going to tell you the story of my experience at Pozoleria el Mexicano. Let’s talk about the food. The sopes were amazing! It also comes with pumpkin or sunflower seeds. I can’t remember which one. The fries were also good. Tasted like any other fry you would have. The service was good. There were checking on us. They brought the stuff on time. Also they didn’t mess any of our orders up. The atmosphere. They had good music and that’s it. Nothing special, but nothing bad. The place looked clean and tidy. But nothing special. Overall five stars. Great food. Awesome Service. Normal but clean atmosphere! Thank you!

Wanted to try pozole and stopped by this place. The pozole was really good and filling. The chicken taco was also super good. Service was great and they were really helpful with any questions I had.

Went here on a whim....was feeling under the weather and needed a caldo. The pozole was very good...it was estilo guerrero. Also had the asada quezadilla and it was super cheesy and full of flavor with the tortilla being homemade. The pink taco was very tasty...a must try!! Family owned and ran this place should definitely be on your list!

Have had this place a few times for their pozole verde and the breakfast, and they always are one point with authentic, fresh and delicious flavors. The picaditas remind me of Veracruz, so simple but amazing. The staff we’ve encountered have all been attentive and friendly.

The food was delicious! Portions were very generous. Our server was polite and pleasant. Great atmosphere, they were playing classic Spanish rock songs. Will definitely come again.

Very delicious and authentic food. Lengua tacos and pozole rojo were the best. It's a “go to” and “come back” place. Service was good as well and the restrooms were clean. Next time we’ll be back for some mole verde.
