Took the blue line to Montrose stop and walked to Old Irving Brewing Co. Once I saw the krampus burger on Instagram I had to try! What a great combination of flavors! Perfect way to kick off the holiday season!

“One of the best breweries in Chicago.”

One of the best breweries in Chicago! the food, the service, and the drinks - all top notch. All staff has been attentive every time we visit, but Scott goes above and beyond!! He always has great recommendations. We had the fried zucchini (MUST TRY EVEN IF YOU’RE NOT A HUGE ZUCCHINI FAN), the surf and turf skewers, and their main burger - which all were so incredible. We found out tonight from Scott that they make as much as they can from scratch in house - including their sauces and their Key Lime Pie! The pie is also a must try item even if you’re full!! INCREDIBLE. In the past, I’ve always gotten the Octopus because it truly is amazing - which says a lot coming from an Italian who is picky about octopus. I’m glad I tried something new, but you really can’t go wrong with any of these options. New fall cocktail menu is great as well - the Whaddup Doc carrot cake cocktail is my new go to. Cant wait to try more of their menu soon!!

Burgers were awesome. Little pricey. 95 degrees outside so it was a little warmer inside than I'd like in thedining area. Nice and cool by the bar.

This is one of the great breweries for food (and the beer isn’t bad either). The vegetarian options are good, with the ZLTA being the star. They also have rotating burger and wing specials. Make sure to either come on a weeknight or super early, as it can get very crowded for dinner! Parking is also really hard to find sometimes.

Absolutely love this place! Not my first visit, and definitely won’t be my last. This spot has earned a permanent place in my favorites! The food? Incredible. No matter what you're craving, they’ve got something to hit the spot. Now, let’s talk about the "Rootin Tootin"—hands down one of the best root beer/sarsaparilla drinks I’ve ever had! My only complaint? I NEED A BIGGER GLASS! (But that’s just my inner glutton talking. 😂) The atmosphere is perfect for any gathering—whether you're catching up with friends or just treating yourself. Do yourself a favor and check this place out. You won’t be disappointed!

“Beer was delicious.”

Beer was delicious! I had a 5oz Ludifisk. It was a wonderfully tart sour beer with cranberries and Swedish Fish. For dinner, I had the chopped salad with grilled chicken. Everything was very fresh. I will normally pick through my salad to remove any brown leaves. There were none! My husband and son both had the Wood-fired burger with fries. Our 17-year-old son went crazy for the fries. They're crispy, garlic fries. He ate that giant burger before I was even half done with my salad! My husband agreed with our son about how amazing the burger and fries were. Everyone we encountered was very friendly and the service was fast. We'll definitely go back when we visit Chicago again.
