Update (9/17/25): Still love this place, dined in today and very packed for a Wednesday night - which was great to see! Very attentive staff, super clean (huge plus Fabuloso smelling bathroom area). Food and drinks were delicious: today I highly recommend the $1 Wings 😍, Shrimp Diablo, the Agua de Nopal, Chips and Salsa were free and great, Tacos all good (Chicken tinga, pastor, and mahi mahi), Agua de Horchata, and the seasonal special "Apple Pie Burrito" 🌯 🍎🥧 (didn't expect the combo but was exquisite 🤤). Original (2023): I love My Cocina! Highly recommend the shrimp Mac and Cheese. We recently moved to the area and this was one of our first pickup picks and was phenomenal as take out. Somehow we've yet to dine in but ordered for pickup/ delivery and it's been amazing every single time!!! 👏 Usually we devour the food before we get to take a picture or review. This last order we had the shrimp mac and cheese with 4 tacos, 2 al pastor, 1 carnitas, 1 chicken. All great! Loved the salsa. I'm usually anti pineapple on the pastor but these were great with it <3. I also snuck it to be the last order by phone after a delayed work trip, so 5 stars 🌟 for excellent service. Hidden gem!

“This place turned out to be a big surprise.”

This place turned out to be a big surprise! We were referred to My Cocina by a friend. The place was nicely decorated and could seat up to maybe 100 at one time. The food is excellent! We had quesadillas and a steak burrito. While we were there for lunch (on a Tuesday), the chef was experimenting with a dessert that he offered to us to try. It was very good, and would be suitable for birthday desserts. I have only one criticism: Your wine selection needs to be updated (improved). Meiomi, Josh, CMeiosis, and Unshackled are some you may consider. This will be a place I intend to return to.

We showed up a little early as we had a baby along and everyone couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. The space is really pretty, great seating and really nice playlist! The food does not disappoint and Orlando was super helpful and attentive. Try all the starters (guacamole, chicken taquitos, salsas were amazing and pretty) The enchiladas were delicious, both birria and chicken tinga with the traditional and green moles. Chef easily accommodated my requests for no dairy (but I promise a fully loaded plate will be gorgeous and delicious when ordering ;)) The chicken with poblano sauce was flavorful and creamy and unique; the tacos were stuffed full and delicious. Do not leave without trying the churros which were melt in your mouth perfection. As the evening progressed the atmosphere was lively and friendly and buzzing, without a hiccup…fun place for dates, friends, drinks (fully stocked and comfortable bar) or any occasion to go out and enjoy !!! So going back ❤️❤️❤️

Had an amazing dinner staff was great and cheery. The aztec stuffed chicken and the tampiquena had bold authentic flavors. The 3 little pigs taco was incredible and paired with the green spicy salsa it completed the flavor profiles of my meal this is a small hidden gem cant wait to try other items in the menu.

We just love this place! Went on a Monday night for my birthday. It was not crowded at all. On Mondays they offer half off margaritas . My wife tried their Spring Special Rhubarb Strawberry which she loved. I had a Pacific on draft. Prices are very reasonable. They start you with chips and 2 types of salsa. One hot and one mild. We love their homemade shrimp ceviche. Portion is enough to share and very fresh and flavorful. I received an BOGO email on their Spring Menu so my wife had the Mahi Pescadillas (GF) and I had the Maestro Fish plate that came with garlic grilled shrimp,mahi mahi,grilled asparagus over poblano mashed potatoes. Everything was sauced with a Creole Shrimp sauce. Huge portions and extra flavorful. Our server Orlando was so nice that when he heard it was birthday he brought out a special birthday dessert. This is a true gem located in a strip center on Route 59. Plenty of parking. They also have their Daily Specials listed online. Please support this business!

Updated: First time visiting their new location, their old location didn’t have a bar but their food has always been great. New location looks awesome and the bar addition as well. Good music playing. Service was great, our waitress was attentive and overall on top of anything we needed. Visited for some 5 de Mayo drinks and food. Their margaritas had all fresh ingredients and you could definitely taste the difference. I had the hibiscus and cucumber lime margarita (photos) so good! The ground beef nacho appetizer was also really good. Have been a customer for 2 years! They are under new ownership, I met the 2 owners recently and they were super nice! The food quality did not change and they’ve improved the menu as well. They make their tortillas in house - yum! They are now on grub hub, DoorDash and uber eats (something they didn’t have before).
