“Tacos are already delicious, but Momento Cantina has raised the bar. They don't just serve chorizo tacos, or steak tacos, or fish tacos, etc. The spices, seasonings, and sauces the include are little chef kisses on each item on their menu. The restaurant is BEAUTIFUL. The ambiance is great. Our server was wonderful. The drinks were amazing. Even the chips & salsa was elevated with beans, cheese, and multiple sauces. 😋🔥”
“I was in Chicago for a short period of time & overheard people talking about Momento. Never one to pass up a Mexican meal, I promptly head over. I was seated immediately, greeted by Jesus, the bartender just as quickly. I asked for suggestions and man, they did not miss!! I had a trio of Campechano tacos. I also ordered a side of rice & beans. The bartender told me “sir, you’re not going to need the rice & beans”, he was right….again! I was presented with a trio of salsas & a black bean dip with seasoned tortilla chips. One of the salsas, I think they called it Macha, had peanuts & sesame seeds in it. It was killer! The homemade blue corn tortillas were fresh & delicious. The filling in the tacos were seasoned just right & were everything a taco should be! You’d think that would be enough, it’s not! Next came dessert. I again went with Jesus’ suggestion of a Fondant de Maiz (warm corn cake with a soft center, sweet corn flavor & cajeta drizzle)….oh my damn! Amazing!! If you’re in the Chicago area, make sure to stop by for an experience at Momento!”

“Awesome experience! We decided on the $65/person surprise dinner. So much food! Thr only down fall is that the waitress asked upms first thing if we wanted drink or grauc. I said sure. But then the special dinner came with some in some of the dishes. So we paid $17 for something we ate, but then didn't eat the stuff that came with the meal. Also, the drink (margaritas) special one where $18. The whole dinner with 1 drink each was pretty pricey, but the experience, ambiance and food was amazing.”

“Amazing authentic Mexican food! We’ve been visiting Chicago for 3 days already, for the Theatre Unified Auditions, and this is the best food we had so far! The chicken mole verde is to die for, and their homemade salsas are the best complement to chips and also entrees. Great beer selections and full bar! Bravo Momento!!”
