The salsa actually has a kick 🌶️ and every bite feels fresh and authentic. It’s definitely not your average taco spot. If you’re into real flavor and great energy, this is the place to go 😋🇲🇽✨

“I found this restaurant through TikTok.”

I found this restaurant through TikTok. I did a little bit of research and heard the food was fire. My family and I decided to give it a try. We are really glad that we did. Upon walking in, we were greeted by Frank. He asked a few questions about what we were interested in, then took the time to walk us around the restaurant to show us how everything worked. He really set the tone for how our service would be. We then sat down and ordered a bunch of tacos from Colin. He was very attentive during our dinner but also not overbearing. The support staff also made sure we were tended to. We continued to order more throughout our stay. The TikTok video said to order as you go so that you get fresh and hot tacos, instead of ordering all at once and they go cold. Each taco was great. My wife loved the pescado, while my daughters destroyed the ribeye. The service set the stage and the food matched it. I’d come here every time I’m in Chicago.

I was honestly shocked by how good the food was! I went during happy hour, and they have a $10 special that includes a full meal with tortillas. It was absolutely delicious and reminded me so much of the food my mom makes at home. Place is very fancy.

I was visiting from Michigan with a friend for a show and she happened to find this place. I was not prepared for how amazing it was. As a chilanga, I was so excited by the decor, the concept, but, most of all, the food. It tasted like home. I always look for good tacos wherever I go, but this place exceeded my expectations. The beans they serve with the chips are so good. Salsas are solid, especially their spicy habanero salsa. I tried the picaña trompo and ribeye tacos and I will be coming back every time I am in the city. Service was amazing too!!! They also have Mexican craft beer and brew their own. Highly recommend this place!!

Hands down the tastiest steak tacos “Picaña Trompo”. I’ve only ordered takeout but the manager Raul showed me the big dining area and the concept is so cool! They wrap the tacos in a way that helps them stay fresh and warm which is not something all restaurants do. Their condiments are also A-tier! Little hack I like to do is add sumac to my tacos. As you can tell I couldn’t wait to take a picture before diving in.
