“A random first time visit turned into a new must visit.”
A random first time visit turned into a new must visit! Some of the best Quesa Birria tacos I've had in a long time. Salsas have great flavor (and spice), Pico was fantastic, and the tacos quesa birria amazing.

“Was just driving in the neighborhood and saw this cute little mom and pop Mexican restaurant with Seafood.”
Was just driving in the neighborhood and saw this cute little mom and pop Mexican restaurant with Seafood. Had to stop in being from San Diego. Absolutely wonderful service, friendly staff, happy energy inside the place. Food was outstanding and fresh. I got the chicken salad and the grilled fish taco. More street size tacos. Definitely recommend

“We came to Mi Pueblo Two in Chicago for a late breakfast (around 1 PM), and everything hit the spot.”
We came to Mi Pueblo Two in Chicago for a late breakfast (around 1 PM), and everything hit the spot. The staff was welcoming and on top of it—friendly, fast, and super attentive. Right away, we were served chips, salsa, and beans, which were all packed with flavor and a great way to start the meal. We ordered tacos, chilaquiles with eggs, and huevos con chorizo—and every dish delivered. The tacos were loaded with well-seasoned meat and fresh toppings. The chilaquiles had that perfect crunch under the green salsa, with eggs cooked just right and a generous layer of crema and cheese. But the real surprise was the huevos con chorizo—super flavorful without being greasy, and paired perfectly with the rice and beans served in those fun crispy tortilla bowls. Everything from the food to the service made this place feel like a solid local spot we’d come back to. Whether you're in the mood for breakfast, lunch, or something in between, Mi Pueblo Two delivers big flavor with a chill vibe.

“Hands down the best torta I have ever had.”
Hands down the best torta I have ever had. The fresh bread made all the difference. It was fluffy on the inside and just a touch crispy on the outside. The birria was tender and juicy. Everything fresh. Truly a pleasure to eat. Edit: went back today for another and Google prompted me to update the review. Still good. Added another pic.

“Came in after having a Dr.”
Came in after having a Dr. appointment and been meaning to come in. Quesobirria Tacos are EXCELLENT! Plenty filling and generous with the braised meat and the all so important consume on the side. House salsas are really good, the Pico has some kick to it. I enjoyed my lunch and will be back.

“Mi Pueblo Two on Touhy Ave.”
Mi Pueblo Two on Touhy Ave. has been my go-to spot for years, and there's a good reason why. This woman-owned gem, run by a dedicated Hispanic lady, consistently delivers some of the best Mexican food in the area. Their gorditas de Asada, quesadilla especial, and tacos are all standout dishes that keep me coming back. Recently, Mi Pueblo Two expanded into a larger space next door, and the upgrade has only enhanced the dining experience. The new location is spacious and welcoming, perfect for enjoying their delicious offerings. One of the highlights for me is their habanero sauce—it's fiery, flavorful, and not for the faint of heart. Their new pico de gallo is also a fantastic addition, fresh and bursting with flavor. Another perk is the complimentary refried beans served when you dine in, a nice touch that adds to the homey, generous feel of the place. Overall, Mi Pueblo Two combines excellent food, a warm atmosphere, and a commitment to quality that makes every visit enjoyable. If you’re in the area and craving authentic Mexican cuisine, this is the spot to hit.

Great food, great service, and great prices! Everything was delicious! I took my cheer squad to eat after a long practice; they left feeling full with leftovers! There is plenty of free street parking.

“Food here is very delicious.”
Food here is very delicious. I had a torta with rice and beans. The rice and beans are cooked very well not gummy like most. The torta has various flavors not like the usual it was very good. I recommend this dish. The horchata is made just right you can taste the cinnamon but it’s not too overpowering and it is not starchy like most restaurants. Highly recommend this place.
