Arturo was absolutely kind and helped me choose a simple mango margarita, if I had more time I would have done the upgraded margarita. But genuinely a kind and chill place for dinner, a calm drink, the mood and ambiance is so nice. Staff is attentive and I see them constantly cleaning. Abel helped me place my food order to go but I cannot put into words how much I appreciate him letting do a food order after the kitchen closed. He got my shrimp burrito dinners out swiftly and he was very nice! On my way out, I got to meet Maria, the owner of the store and such a welcoming and kind soul. Feliz navidad Maria, your staff is as kind and friendly as my family from Peru 🥰🥰 have a great holiday, you will see me around again!

Must go place when we visit family in Illinois!! F9d is always exceptional and the margaritas (although expensive! (2 for $38 makes your dinner bill add up!)) are delicious. I like the skinny margarita! We had Aye Chihuahua, beef burrito and steak fajitas. Enough food for each of us to eat 2 days with leftovers! Oh and the best house salad dressing And black bean soup and chips and salsa!!!

Maria’s Mexican Restaurant is absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere is so fun, lively, and welcoming — the perfect spot to celebrate something special. We brought our daughter here for her 21st birthday, and the staff went above and beyond to make it memorable. The sombrero birthday song was such a great touch — she loved every second of it! Thank you, Maria’s, for making her day so special. We’ll definitely be back for more great food, margaritas, and good vibes! 🎉🌮💃

I had the pleasure of trying the Pork Tenderloin form special menu item at Maria’s Mexican Restaurant in Rosemont, and it was absolutely outstanding! The grilled meat was perfectly seasoned and cooked, and the fresh grilled vegetables brought an amazing balance to the dish. The plate came with rice, beans, guacamole, and fresh tomato garnish..., every single side complemented the main entrée beautifully. This dish was full of bold, authentic flavors and felt like a true labor of love from the kitchen. It was not only delicious but also presented beautifully, making it feel extra special. I really hope Maria adds this to the regular menu..., it’s too good to only be available as a special! Highly recommend trying it if you get the chance

Went to Maria's and had a great experience! My server was amazing - she gave me advice on what to order and I'm so glad I took it. The carne asada was cooked to perfection. Their sangria is also top notch, one of the best I've had in a long time!

“We had a great hostess/waitress.”

We had a great hostess/waitress. It had a cozy vibe and very good food. We went there a little before closing, and they still sat us at a table, so that was nice. It was the night before I had to fly home so it was nice to have a sit down dinner with the family and they didn’t rush us out because they were closing highly recommended if you’re in the area.

Came here today for lunch, we got a table outside and it was perfect. Service was quick, and knowledgeable! For the amount of food and drinks you can get the price was worth it! Definitely recommend this place. If you go to a place that has dual language menu, you know it’s going to be good. 10/10

“It was more casual than I expected.”

It was more casual than I expected. Big portions with reasonable prices. Dining in for the first time with family, they really liked the ambiance of the restaurant. Went back twice!! Their menu has delicious items, we try a new one every time we go. Today we got the skirt stake, so tender and full of flavor! The combo appetizer was a great start. The fried ice cream, we cleaned the bowl. The mango and ice cream was a bit too sweet so we couldn't finish that.

Went to dinner with friends from a business meeting. We were seated promptly and the waitress was very attentive to our party. I ordered the Camaron a La Diabla, a very spicy shrimp dish. It was served with Rice, Pico de Gallo, and a side salad. The salad was was fresh and a good start to the meal. The shrimp were grilled. They were plump, juicy, and season very well. The rice was fully and well seasoned. The Pico de Gallo tasted fresh and was a wonderful compliment to the very spicy Diabla Sauce that accompanied the shrimp. Overall a good dish. A nice place for a meal and the staff was friendly and attentive to us. A great option for lunch or dinner.
