The tacos at Los Arcos were very tasty — full of flavor and really good overall. The only downside was that some pieces of the carne asada were a bit overcooked, which made a few bites a little hard to chew. What I didn’t like is that, unlike most Mexican restaurants or taco places I’ve been to, they didn’t offer complimentary tortilla chips before the meal. That’s something I’m used to and really missed here. Other than that, the atmosphere was great — it’s a beautiful restaurant inside, very clean and inviting. I was really happy with how nice the place looked and the overall experience.

Los Arcos has some of the best carnitas tacos and beans — flavorful, fresh, and always satisfying. I love this spot, but it’s tough seeing how they’ve been under pressure from ICE, which has even affected their hours. Still, when they’re open, the food and hospitality make it worth coming by.

This is my local Mexican restaurant. Daniel and his team are wonderful. I also had my 51st bday party on their back patio. They pulled it off flawlessly. They even gave me a vase of roses. All of their margaritas are made with fresh juices.

“We dined here last night.”

We dined here last night. This cozy restaurant has left us with the best impressions! Rojo Pork Pazole is one of the best I've ever tried in Chicago. My friend is Vegan and he was very impressed with how tasty and beautiful his tacos turned out. Elvia is extremely hospitable host, the food was absolutely delicious. I recommend Los Arcos to everyone. We will definitely come back here again. I do wish they served alcohol, (Elvia did mention they're working on obtaining a liquor license) but for now its BYOB.
