“Restaurant weeker here.”
Restaurant weeker here! We made a reservation online and manages to grab a slot for the next day. Location is super convenient if you take the 22. The vibes inside were cool with their giant pizza oven and the staff were really friendly. Unfortunately if you're not sitting at the bar I think you cannot get happy hour deals. The course food was really good overall and super filling. There were 3 of us but we got 4 people's worth of servings essentially (for the price of 3 people) which was great. Good Mediterranean sampler foods. Dessert was okay though. Drinks were generally great.

“We came during restaurant week and were not disappointed.”
We came during restaurant week and were not disappointed. The falafel and the roasted eggplant were delicious. We also had cookies with dates (perfect dipped in some tea) and loved the butternut squash soup. I saw some reviews had complaints about the service, but even with almost every table full our server came by often and at just the right times. We were very comfortable and the food came out promptly We'll definitely be back to try more and check out the patio

All of the dishes I had were beautifully made and full of complex and satisfying flavor. One of the best meals I’ve had in the city this year. My servers were friendly and very attentive. My only suggestion is the atmosphere would be better with a more lofi music scene or some sort of different music choices to reflect the character of the space. This place is a new favorite!

This is such a beautiful spot and the patio is a hidden gem out the back of the restaurant! The summer menu is full of greatness- I would have loved to try everything but I’ll just have to come back for more. The gazoz drinks were so delicious and full of fun flavor combos- it was a great option for someone avoiding alcohol or just wanting to try something unique! We got the taboon, Brussels, corn, and potatoes and everything was incredible. I can’t wait to return.

“This place smells amazing.”
This place smells amazing. Many dishes reasonably priced. Chris, the bartender connoisseur and inventor, is unbelievably friendly and helpful. Get the pistachio martini if you want flavor!

“Food is very good.”
Food is very good. Staff are amazing. I had a toddler with me for an early dinner, and multiple staff members came over to entertain and interact - making dinosaur noises, bringing a toy, just coming to chat and distract so I could eat. It's not a typically kid-oriented place but they really went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Back patio seating area is a surprise treat.

“Ever have dinner so good you forget to take photos? Well this was it.”
Ever have dinner so good you forget to take photos? Well this was it. Beautiful space, amazing outdoor garden in the back, do not miss it! Now the food, delicious, unique flavors. As a foodie had to try a few things! Hummus with spiced lamb, moroccan fish on wood oven focaccia made in house, lamb dog topped with torshi giardinera, river trout schnitzel (chef Ben, you really knocked this one out of the park,) charcoal pit lamb with rose harissa, and the desserts! Sesame parfait, and Pavlova - just wow! Go explore, try everything, bring friends and family, you will be glad you did!

“If you’re in search of a plethora of vegetarian options that simultaneously cater to your taste...”
If you’re in search of a plethora of vegetarian options that simultaneously cater to your taste buds and maintain a health-conscious approach, look no further than Fiya. Located in Andersonville, Chicago, this restaurant presents an inviting atmosphere alongside a divine menu. My personal favorite, Salatim, is a medley of appetizing spreads served with two perfectly made pitas. The pitas are an epitome of flawlessness, delightfully fluffy, slightly charred, and absolutely fresh. It’s as if you can taste the warmth and dedication poured into the baking of each one. The variety of spreads that accompany the pitas are nothing short of tantalizing. The Whipped Feta w/Pistachio, Torshi (pickled veggies), Green Fava Dip, Muhamarra, Spiced Fennel Slaw, Marinated Olives, and the 24-hour marinated option all come together to create a harmonious symphony of flavors. A minor setback was the Baba Ganoush, which, unfortunately, had a texture that resembled store-bought hummus. The salad, composed of grilled gem lettuce, farm-fresh herbs, giant capers, and a light dressing, is a commendable offering for the summer. Perhaps one of the best plates in the area, it strikes an immaculate balance between being delectably substantial and refreshingly light. Last but not least, the falafel. It is crafted with a faultless ratio of crispiness to softness. The vibrant green mixture, that’s as pleasing to the eye as to the palate, manages to maintain a light and airy flavor profile that will have you yearning for more.

“I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ENOUGH!!”
I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ENOUGH!!! Hannah was our server and made it an unforgettable experience for us. We were a party of 7, 5 of us were from out of state and we got top notch experience from start to finish. We were there for a bachelorette/birthday party combined, and they made us feel so special with impeccable service. Not to mention the food was some of the best we’ve ever had. 100/10 would recommend and will be coming back next time we’re in town!!

“Honestly… INCREDIBLE food both in quantity and quality.”
Honestly… INCREDIBLE food both in quantity and quality! Went for restaurant week… and it didn’t disappoint! Tasty tasty and by far my favorite of the 4 I did. Khachapuri and dips (baba ganoush) was the table favorite. Chicken was large.. but only ok. Would get a different meat next time. Bonus: open kitchen was fun to watch!

“02/02/25 double bday dinner for me and my daughter.”
02/02/25 double bday dinner for me and my daughter. She reserved a heated igloo for us. It can sit 6 people. I love the igloo. It was a perfect place to celebrate, we had privacy it was surprisingly warm and cozy inside the igloo. Atmosphere was 5 stars for me. The food was 5 stars, of course. My branzino was superb. It tasted like home cooked! Instantly reminded me of home! The pita was freshly made everytime. I salute you guys for keeping the authenticity of their food!! And the service? Oh boy! It’s exceeding expectations! They served our food while hot! They were efficient. They don’t play around. They are there to please. For example, the igloo has a zipper right? I would watch them with admiration and respect as they patiently open the zipper to go in and zip it close again when they leave. All the while carrying plates! And they still engage with us cheerfully! Truth to tell: I was so blessed that I thought, “I must leave a review. People need to know how great this place is.” I told our wait-person: “This is our first time- and you did not disappoint.” Thank you for the joy and love that you bring with your food. You feel like home.” I hope this review helps. Till next time..
