“Great people and Food! Plenty of parking and nice/clean place!”

“Had to work in Wheeling for a week and found this place not far from the office. The free chips and salsa were great along with the different menus I tried. The meals are big enough to the point where I didn't need to eat anything else those days. Will be back next time I'm working in Wheeling.”

“Stopped in because I was looking for some Mexican food. I am glad that I did! The food was delicious! The tamales were fantastic. I also had the quesadilla birria which was a delight. I couldn’t get enough of the salsas.”

“Loved this place food was delicious staff was great very patient, friendly and attentive! Plenty of parking as long as it's not full drinks were great, bathroom was clean which is always a good thing definitely give this place a try if you're in the area! 10/10”

“So happy they serve menudo on weekdays! Also tried their tacos and tamales, and everything was flavorful, and satisfying. A great spot for some authentic Mexican comfort food!”

“My family is from Guerrero, this was just like the food I grew up on. So far, I've only had a quesadilla with steak and a quesabiria. The consome was flavorful, I'm used to strong bay leaf taste, I loved it. The salsa with the chips had a good spicy kick. The green and red salsas were both delicious, spicy enough to enjoy the food. I rate a solid 8 on the handmade tortilla for these quesadillas. Bf loves the coffee, I went for the Agua de jamaica. Love the cups the drinks are served in.”

“Typical mexican restaurant located inside of a strip mall. Lots of seats and tables to dine inside with very clean bathrooms. Service was outstanding. I was greeted immediately upon entering and was told to choose anywhere to sit. I was then handed a menu, and I ordered a drink. While I looked over the menu, I received chips and salsa to the table. The chips were fresh, salty, tasted very corn forward, and came with a green tomatillo salsa. It was probably some of the best green salsa I have had anywhere. I ordered a handmade tortilla quesabirria (with consume) and a handmade gordita with steak. When I received both entrées, they also brought two types of salsas to the table, a red and a green sauce and they were both great! The quesabirria comes as one long taco on a plate. Almost like a quesadilla/quesabirria. The homemade tortilla was so delicious, and the quesabirria meat was very flavorful. They packed the taco with lots of meat, but it needed a little more melted cheese. I enjoyed the consume the most because it was different than other consumes I have tried. It had chickpeas, potatoes, and carrots in the broth as well. Because of that, I was able to eat most of the consume after eating the taco, almost like a soup. I didn't enjoy the gordita. It was pretty bland because the gordita was hard, almost fried, and it wasn't soft like I was expecting. The steak could have been seasoned better as well. I wouldn't order a gordita again, but if I was in the area, I would come back and try other menu items.”

“Enserio venden esto como una torta?? Deja mucho que desear la verdad”

“Food wasn't that good. I'd put it at fast food quality. Not sure if it was a bad day, but the steak tasted bland. Not much spice or seasoning. Tortillas were gummy or just steamed to long or microwaved, not sure. Not enough cilantro or Onion, which could have possibly saved the tacos a little bit with some flavor. $22 for 4 tacos, 1 glass coke and a slice of flan.”

“First timer. Ordered the carne asada. Wow....The dryest piece of meat ever. I could probably hammer in loose nails with this thing. The rice tasted like it had been sitting in the refrigerator for at least a day or two. Had hard pieces I chewed on. Beans were decent. Very disappointing for my first time. At least the "homemade tortillas" were good! That's about the only thing I enjoyed about my meal. The lady at the counter was friendly and welcoming when I came inside to pick up my food. Maybe you guys had an off day? But that shouldn't be an excuse since the restaurant was completely empty inside. Quality needs to improve before I give this place another shot.”

“Came here last night 4/17/25 since my son wanted Enchiladas. The tacos Al pastor and tacos de Asada were not good. The main reason I am giving this a 1 star is because the lady who was there decided to put the number of guests to 6 to automatically get an 18% gratuity when there were only 4 of us (myself, my 2 kids and their dad). If you go here make sure she does not do this if you are not a party of 6!!”
