I absolutely love La Hacienda in Roselle! My optometrist recommended it to me for a quick lunch and I'm so glad I came here! The food is very reasonable, I ordered three Barbacoa enchiladas with mole it came with beans and rice. My other guest ordered the bistecca and added pork with red sauce , veggies , rice and beans and we both were really happy with the flavors . Blanca was an amazing waitress very sweet and accommodating. The rest of the staff here is so kind and welcoming. I recommend coming here instead of a corporate chain restaurant because the food portion to price ratio is so much better you get so much more for your money, and the ambience is so much better and more personable. for dessert we had flan and They bought out complementary fried dough and banana pastry… It was really nice of them. Please support your local restaurants, often times they are much better than these big chain restaurants that are ripping people off financially with the portion size and price! Will definitely be back . enjoyed the cultural artwork and decorations as well in the restaurant. Authentic food A+! Bill was $60 total pretty great for sit down service , two huge entrees and 2 desserts. Could have fed four people with all that food haha. Chips and salsa are complementary and very yummy. Service was 12-15 min from when we ordered really good on time.

Amazing family place fantastic food really nice staff. Family owners. The carnitas were so flavorful and tender. They didn't need any salsa but of course I did. You can tell they are home made salsas, mild and medium. I had a huge burrito and took 2/3rds home. The rice and beans are tasty and I usually don't eat them but one bite and I couldn't stop. I finished the whole thing. I am definitely returning and telling all of my friends. I almost forgot the little surprise dessert, a fried banana with whipped cream What a hidden gem! Update: I've been sharing this place and my friends love it!

“Celebrated my Mom's 69th birthday here.”

Celebrated my Mom's 69th birthday here. Previously made reservations for our group of 12. The service was 10/10, I ordered their carne asada not knowing it came with salad, rice, beans and steak plus fries! Needless to say we had leftovers and memories. They didn't rush us out, the wait staff even came around to give plenty of water during and after our meals. Everyone got what they ordered and the birthday girl had many rounds of margaritas(her fav.) We've been coming here for years and we will continue.. Thank you to all of the staff!!

I've been to several la hacienda locations and this one has a smaller seating area but by far the best when it comes to the food. I had the Bistec a la Mexicana. So delicious and huge portions. The margaritas were great too!

Oh my! WHAT.A.PLACE! When you walk in you are immediately greeted and seated. As you sit down, you are served water, homemade chips and a plate with mild and spicy salsa and veggies. This was just the start of a delicious meal. The chips and salsa were amazing! Be mindful when ordering you can share, the portions are MASSIVE and one dish can easily feed two adults and a kid with no problem. Unfortunately, we ordered a too much not knowing the portion sizes that was about to come out but we were able to try many different options so it turned out to be a good thing. The waitress was very helpful. Since we ordered three tacos she did say they can be mixed it didn't have to be three of the same, so we got a chicken, shredded steak and grilled steak. We also ordered Pollo Arroz. The chicken dish has two breast under those veggies with rice beans and another something on the opposite side and it was all delicious. Both were massive portions and both were fantastic! Throughout our entire time, we were constantly being checked on and made sure we had enough water. The staff was very attentive. At the end of the meal, a man brought us fried banana with whipped cream and sprinkles which was great too. There is ZERO way you leave this place: Hungry Disappointed Not thinking you got everything and more you paid for. It was worth it and that wonderful!

Not only do you get complimentary chips and salsa (oh and pickled veggies!), but they are the best I've ever had! Great service and hospitality! The workers attitudes are awesome! And after your delicious meal they give you a delightful complimentary dessert!! Have never been disappointed going here! Keep up the good work!

“Every dish is excellent.”

Every dish is excellent. You can taste the Love and home made taste in every dish Down to the chips and salsa and Horchata. I highly recommend. My new favorite Mexican Restaurant. Great for dates.
