“Everything is fresh and flavorful. Atmosphere is very welcoming! Every dish has exceeded my expectation.”

“My family has been coming here for years. They have great traditional food at affordable prices!”

“I remember coming here as a kid with my dad and now as an adult all their dishes are delicious especially the machacado with beans and rice hands down the best old fashion restaurant in Chicago pilsen area i strongly recommend it to anyone that wants breakfast or lunch”

“Home cooked meals taste like your grandma cooked them, delicious”

“I had the huevos divorciados with green and red chilaquiles, plus a side of beans and rice, and it was exactly what I needed. The portions were generous, the flavors deeply traditional, and everything tasted truly homemade, the kind of meal that feels comforting and familiar from the first bite. On top of that, the customer service was incredibly attentive and thoughtful, from checking in at the right moments to making sure everything was just right without ever feeling rushed. You can really feel the care both in the kitchen and in how they treat their guests. I’d absolutely recommend it and will definitely be coming back the next time I’m in town.”

“Staff was so nice and the plate was very delicious loved my experiance today and thank you so much to everyone 🫡”

“Always good....Always good service...just like home made !”

“Came in for breakfast and they got a great selection of guisados and can't forget the horchata for a drink it was delicious... 8.9 out of 10”

“Best part, they have a parking lot. A bit much: Mexican Coke $3.50 self serve. Green chili chicken enchiladas were good. Red chili cheese enchiladas were a bit different. I’m used to Monterey Jack or cheddar inside, not here, it’s the cojiba cheese, not to my taste. $12.95 for 3 enchiladas with rice and beans. The refried beans were really quite good.”
